Also is it all made in Blender the quality of the render looks like Art i dont know how to explain, the quality i mean did you use some color correction to get this artistic effect in the end ?
Thanks! I used dynamic hair for the stimulation, the character is set be a force-field which attracts the hairs as it moves along, the vines are then instanced along the hair with a particle instance modifier.
This is simply impressive! you did this in Cycles using the specs you mentioned?!? just....how....? May I know how long was the render time? I have a ryzen 2400g with GTX 1060 6Gig and 16gig RAM with blender installed in SSD but damn it takes ridiculous amount to render still, Again a lovely submission and came from Pwnishers vid
The entry took about a week to put together and it took 2 more weeks to render the whole thing, it would have been done faster if I left it to render overnight but I didnt want my laptop to overheat.
@@Rc12chy thank you sir loved your composition and hard work really appreciated can you please explain what's the distance of that big planet in the background? from the camera ?? BTW LOVE FROM INDIA
I've since upgraded to better system but this was done with the listed specs. The entry was rendered over 2 weeks and used render layers to prevent blender from running out of memory.
I saw this on Craig's competition compilation...I loved it and after some days this video is in my recommendation list...no words for ur creation and creativity..only ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You were my favorite designer into this challenge! the environnement and idea is so georgous remind me AVATAR!!! Really well done!

that's one of my favorite i just wish you didn't put that tree there otherwise its still amazing
I was thinking about moving or scaling the trees so they didnt obstruct the scene, but didn't have enough time to redo it :)

This is Awesome work. How did you do the roots from the bottom and catching the character with physics?
Thanks! I used dynamic hair for the stimulation, the character is set be a force-field which attracts the hairs as it moves along, the vines are then instanced along the hair with a particle instance modifier.

what is the focal length of your camera in this scene?
The focal length is at 36mm, which is the default focal length in the template, one of the rule was to not change the camera position or settings

@@VFX_BUDDY The planets are about 500m away from camera, I used shaders and post-processing to make it look farther away
