Dior has started making the classic Lady Dior’s with the flap now. My SA says the zipper will be phased out. I know most people like the small my lady Dior but I personally love the medium size the best. TFS!

Hi, thanks for the great review. One question, is it comfy to carry it with the handles on the crook of the harm since they’re really stiff and slim?

This is a nice and thorough review. I was told that the handles, when they fall to each side of the bag, are supposed to resemble the iconic 'CD' logo, which was designed so that the initials were read 'CD' both forwards and backwards. I have always loved the square boxy shape, the quilted carnage, and the interesting curve of the stiff handles, which I find so comfortable to hold. It really is one of those timeless pieces that doesn't bore me, and with the interesting use of colours and new tapestry-like fabrics Dior has introduced, it keeps the Lady Dior. fresh, edgy, and contemporary. In fact, I prefer the Lady Dior Bag to the rectangle Chanel bag.

Do you have tips on storing this bag? I’m afraid in long term it will loose the shape. Saw many sloughed lady dior bags in second hand markets

I was just at Dior last week and asked about the hardware and was told they will not be getting rid of the gold hardware...
I'm short. I wouldn't have minded the medium, but you made me realize a small one would be better for me.
I also love the matte version. Low maintenance.😁

I always loved medium size best but preferred the flal vs zip so never bought one. When I saw the new model with flap and adjustable strap, I went for it in Jan, right before the $300 price increase. Great vid!

@@EricabyDesign Hmmm, I don't know but a $900 increase on the medium after June 2020 to present is not tame but I see what you mean with only 1 increase per year. 🙂

I just love love Lady Dior so much! They are just so addictive! 😅😅 U can't really stop after getting the 1st one! And then you will be completely hook on all other Dior bags!!! I didn't expect I would like the saddle bags, but then , again after I got mine, I just couldn't stop liking them. They are much more versatile and easy to style then I imagined! They just goes with everything! And you just wouldn't care about the resell value at all, because you are so in love with the bags that you wouldn't even consider parting with them.🤣😅🤣

Thank you! I think though the lady Dior with the soft flap is nicer though and if I had to repurchase I would’ve gone for that instead. Much easier to use the bag rather than this zipper type ☺️
@@EricabyDesign The flap is different from other flapped bags in that there’s no snap or magnetic closure. I wonder if it will hold its shape over time. I don’t think I will like the zipper either. Accessibility is an important factor for me.
@@LoAn981blackhawk that was my concern also which is why I got the one with the zipper. But this zipper is really hard to get things in and out of the bag. It’s a great occasion bag but I can’t imagine using this on a daily basis. I’d go insane taking things out and putting things back in my bag 🤣

I’m SO GRATEFUL for this review! There’s something called trypophobia where u feel disgusted/afraid of clusters of holes. I have it. But for the first time it was triggered by BUMPS. Omg the texture of this bag is not shown well on their website! When u turned it and I saw the bumpy puffs I felt my stomach churn. This is not saying the bag is ugly. It’s just triggering a very specific rare phobia & it literally disgust me. I’m so happy u showed the close ups 😭 u saved me the embarrassment of having to do a luxury return, which also gives me anxiety LMAO ❤️

I have it also in black with the zipper. I personally prefer it with the zipper. It looks more elegant to me. Everything time I need an elegant bag I take the Lady Dior and not to the Chanel Classic one. :-) greetings from Europe
