I'm not a backpack person and usually carry a purse with me, but I wanted something that was easier to carry and less carried over the shoulder. I bought the smaller size, but it holds 2 water bottles, snacks, a couple of light sweaters, and a bunch of other small things. I like that the opening is in the back, great for travel.

A lot of people don't realize there is another slip pocket because when the bag is new, the slip pocket lays flushed to the side right below the leather area so you don't really see it. I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *esluxs* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
