Yes and not really. Yes you could use the gravity well of a star to slingshot a craft to vastly increased speeds. But no to the second part about reaching other planets in a quicker time, because the time it would take to reach the Sun in the middle of the solar system and then continuing on to your target planet, is much greater than the time it would take for us to go directly to the target planet by waiting until our orbit from earth is at its closest to the target planet in its orbit
Would the human eye be able to register something moving that speed? And how does it retreive data well moving at that speed? This is extremly interesting!
at a great enough distance, sure. as for the data, as I understand it, the challenge is more EM interference. I think the probe had to return to a wider orbit to transmit the data....that could also have slowed it down. and while the probe was moving very fast (430,000MPH), thats just a small fraction of the speed of light, which is 186,000 miles per SECOND.
No o e wants to hear Secretariat was at sime fraction of a speed that's stuck in your mind they want to know that Horse is the fastest Horse recorded ever!!! Get a clue Dude !!! And i freaking Love You !!!
Theoretically, could you use the Sun's gravity to slingshot crafts to further planets in the solar system at a higher rate of speed?

Imagine slingshoting off course 💀
yes
Talking light speed and leaving out that

Rounded up

How many days would a million seconds be! 11 days, and a billion seconds comes to 31 year's
Soooo basically it would have gone around the Earth 17.3 times in an hour !
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
C'mon Tyson you dropped the ball on that one!
Break it down to impress people not to bully people with your intelligence. A Bully is a Bully maybe work on that Shit Dude !! 🤔🙄
wtf are you on about?
Space probe 😂sure bud
Bull$hit
Get over yourself Neil
