This was a pleasure again....beautiful presentation of images!)) Everything is correct JP!! Many thanks....have a nice week;)) Warm greetings X Betsy....🇳🇱💞🇧🇪✈😘.....
Austin Texas used to have planes with landing gear down flying over a major highway ready to touch down about 200 yards away. You could see faces in the cars and in the plane windows.. Glad to see more women pilots. Our brains are wired differently in a way that that could be a very positive thing for quick thinking.
I’ll have to Google it now to see how high the steeple is now, seeing as you’ve made me curious 🤨, great landing, you could get a job on aircraft carriers seeing as you spotted the landing so well
It was a funny comment in the pilot briefing so couldn't resist using it in the title... the church is in Diegem right in the approach path of runway 07L as they are coming from the left for that runway... its also very rare to land on that runway... 30 years of filming many many flights into Brussels this is our 1st time coming in on this runway.
Looks like they had 2 master cautions. Total guess here but I think it was FD Lateral Mode Off and another associated message. When you reach the last leg in the mcdu, LNAV has nothing to guide the pilot to. When this occurs LNAV automatically disengages and puts out the master caution and EICAS message when it does so. Nothing abnormal….just a party foul at worst 😅
JFK runway 22L and R. They're the runways used during most bad weather, you know, low ceilings, limited visibility. The very final approach (well after decision height) crosses Rockaway Turnpike, a very major roadway, about 50 feet before the airport perimeter fence and maybe another couple hundred feet before the runway. You know JFK, major international gateway. B747, A380, etc. All needing every bit of the runway in that bad weather
I had a question. I am not a citizen of the United Arab Emirates. Can I get scholarship training for Emirates flight school? Can you explain this process in detail?

Thank you and greetings and hugs from Santiago de Chile...!
I’ve never seen a church with flashing aviation lights on the steeple before. Brilliant

Knappe piloot 🥰
The prayers in that church intensify as jets sweep overhead
OMG...that is a hoot! That steeple is pretty damn close to the runway. Is that the one Denzel hit when flying inverted?!

@@justplanes I’ve never seen a strobe light on a church steeple before. It must make an excellent reference point on VFR approaches!
F.O. "waterloo!" hahaha
If i remember correctly I thought Denzle Washington had knock the steeple off that church !!! 😜
What was the master caution for on short final? Any ideas?
