Very informative ! Thnq sir. I think the reason why most of the women neglect BSE/awareness b'cuz they're scared of the unwanted outcome if so, they just leave it till it actually starts bothering them. Unfortunately its too late then. Time to break the stigma !!
I used to teach and part of it with the 10/11 year olds was teaching about puberty and sex education. We taught boys and girls about periods, but separately. We asked the children every year if they wanted parts of it to be separate. We also taught the girls to measure for bras, with vest tops or something similar of course. It often bugged us that we or preferably and expert taught the girls what changes in their body could mean, how to look for the changes & seek medical help straight away. Boys should have been taught the same by a male expert. I’m a woman and I didn’t think it would be appropriate for me to teach boys how to examine their genitals. For one I don’t have experience of having boy bits, nor would I want to embarrass them. However…each year we tried to get some advice and professional help we were just sent in circles and got no where. I do think it should be taught as part of puberty & sex education. It’s been hidden away as taboo for far too long. I’d like to see videos like this in different languages so that people who don’t speak English as a first language can access the vital information. Particularly, knowing how to get an appointment to see someone about it & roughly what would happen after they find something ominous
