Your son was trying to get your attention real bad. 😢😢😢 I know you're trying to record but , come on now. Give him a chance to reel in the pole. ❤❤❤ He'll get the hang of it soon. Show him how to cast..😊😊
@alexloza7454 you’re right but that kid brought in the last 2/3 sturgeon so forget him 😤 lol jk. I just needed the sturgeon to go the other way then i would of gave him the pole and recorded the sturgeon dragging him into the water 🤣
Nice. Im moving out to Sacramento after I graduate and was wondering what’s some good fishing spots. Reminds me of the Missouri River but slower current.
Yessir! Been fishing like crazy but just didn’t record. Saw and fished with Shi from Shination at camanche pond and he gave me some motivation to record again 😂
Where i lost the sturgeon is private property (my uncle’s house). The striper spot is on S River rd. Across the Sac River from Sutterville rd. A long walk
To be honest, if you can’t see your car, then nowhere is safe. That’s the risk we gotta take. The safest area would be the beginning of the feather river on garden hwy. You will be able to see your car and that stretch of the river does not have a lot of current so a 2 or 3oz weight is all you need
I dont get why the overkill setups, ive caught some big stripers on my 6'6 light rod with 6lb mono. Just for fun to challenge myself ill even use my ultralight with 2lb test and still landing them.
I get it bro! I do the same but my family are usually the ones using my rods most of the time. My son brought in a couple of sturgeon in the past. The area I fish right now needs a 10oz weight to stay. Appreciate the comment tho
Besides my uncle’s crib, the striper spot I was at is a little iffy. Cars get broken into a lot but there are plenty of spots that is good. Look for sand banks and the stripers will be there feeding. GL this year!
That hook set! Looks like a cool spot to bank fish.
Nothing beats a father and son bonding time memories that last a life time
Thank you! My son was excited cuz he brought in a couple sturgeon in the past. He will have the opportunity next time

There are a ton of spots along the Sacramento River. When that time comes, be sure to hit me up 🤙
@@FishingWithAlexS whats the main game fish out there in the rivers? Is it stripers?
@@kunaiwithchain5278 definitely stripers. Then there’s bass fishing in the delta and trout/catfish at the lakes an hour from sac
👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🎣🎣🎣🐬🐬🐟🐟🐋🐋🐋🐋
Welcome back. Disappeared for awhile. Thought lines.
😂 I got that automatic hook rod holder too. Worked legit for bass

@@sanmansfishingadventure and that automatic hook setter caught the keeper but I didn’t record it. Might do a video on it later for fun 😅
You’re back! -Becky
Where is that fishing spot at bro?
This spot is on S River rd. Across the river from Sutterville rd. A long walk
What kind rod is that left one?
The small pole is a 8’ one piece phenix med light m1 inshore series and the big pole is a 12’ med heave power stick from bass pro shop
Cool video. Dont hurt yourself with them hooksets bro 🤙
Understood and thank you 🙏

Where is a safe area to park to fish Garcia bend .

Damn that had to be a sturgeon that was sad
Sure was. It came up after it broke my line on the tree. Probably around 40-50” only had a 25# leader
The first fish, tho 😢
Thanks for the reminder 😅🤣
Lol, sorry, I was hurt from it also 💀 next time, you'll get it for sure!
@@ohellz510 I’ve caught plenty in my life time. Each year I tend to catch one fishing for stripers
@@FishingWithAlexS that hook set was 🔥
