- This is a uncommon B&D drill as most people got the home utility grade ones or the professional heavy-duty models. This one has a split cast internal frame with a slip over plastic body and 1/2 the bearings are rolling and 1/2 are sleeve it is a strange tool. This tool is also very involved in servicing because you basically have to completely disassemble it even to change the brushes.
This is interesting, I still have my orange mid grade tools from 1980 and the last several years I got three of them brand new on ebay for collectible nostalgic purposes. But of course I use modern tools today.
One of your more interesting videos for sure. Thanks for the consistant good content
Now you want to make me go out and check my old black and decker drill and see what model it is! 😄
I had to go out and look…oops…it’s a Skill Slugger! Shows you how long it has been since it’s been used!
They could have made more in profit if it had been designed differently, it looks like a decent drill... Great video.
Mr Maximus, Would it be fair to describe this as a 'non-terrible' or 'not completely awful' Black and Decker drill? 🤔
Wow great stuff
Another cool drill, nice stuff. How many drills do you actually own? Or do you end up selling the ones you come across? Just curious?
Back in the day people didt mind using there brains to fix somthing
And if they didt that’s why they had could customers service to fix it
We’re is know they littlearly are being paid just swap parts
✌️
Well Black and Decker did not like Left handed folks.
Due to putting that reverse switch on the left side.😂🤪
