- I installed a 12 volt blender motor on the broken drill machine.
It's not as strong and fast as it used to be, but it can be used in small jobs.
You could also use 12v battery instead of adapter.

What is the name of motor I want it can available on online tell me
Get a new brushless drill. Cheap enough and will do a better job than that old P O S
🙂🤩😚😇🤩😙

Perfect for drilling butter.
Hahahaha
Best YT comment of the day.
Genius.!
Man. If you only knew how bad I needed this laugh when I read this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I just learned how to spend a few hours turning up 120 volt drill into 120 volt drill😳
😆😆😆
You also learned, "how to" waste a few hours.
Serious? 🤔
Not only that, I believe you also watched someone turn something back into itself.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The bearings sound rough, the whole event is not worth it. Drills of that quality are cheap enough, better to recycle and buy a new one!
I've got to be more careful when I pick a video to watch
Ohhh yess.....absolutly......AC and DC
Hmmm.... you mix AC and DC motors......thats no good.....put it in the recycle bin
😂
@@lennartekdahl8298 he’s not mixing it he is using 220v or 110v to 12v circuit so he’s not mixing the motor maybe you should know what happening before you comment
Think it may have been easier and better just to put new brushes in it!
Yes. My guess is that a good clean with contact cleaner and new brushes would have the motor run pretty much like new.
The worn out bearings and absence of grease is a completely different story...
In this case the armature and/or field coil was probably burnt and useless. This is a good Mc Gyver if you are far a way from a store / stores are closed / urgent job and if you have a DC motor handy which can fit into the housing nicely.
That's what I would have done, and a new power cord.
you might not know if the rotor was ok or not, what if it is burned
But with this 775 motor drill machine, you can use it with just a 12v battery anywhere.
Perfecto algo así estaba buscando !!! Saludos desde MÉXICO 😁
Well done for making the most under powered drill on the market. Top job. For your next video let’s see your refurbished tool, drill a 13mm hole.
Haha it can barely drill pine with a 5mm
The deal breaker is connecting the small diameter motor shaft to the old gearbox by drilling the old output shaft. That's really skillful engineering! Not many people are up tot that! Interesting to watch anyway (with the sound turned down).
Darn...need a drill to fix a drill.
That's interesting...I cast this one to my ho. W theater system and rattles the windows!
@@JohnSmith-mw2hh Oh the irony.
I used my Catitar to play the strings. She was not amused😾
@@soylentgreen9492 Did she divorce you?
Took a drill apart. Then put drill back together. Amazing!!
great, i finally have a use for that drawer full of old blender motors i'm not using
You can also run directly on rechargeable batteries. How much torque does it provide? You can also test it on bricks as well. If the old rotor is still good, you could have simply removed the stator and fit strong magnets on both sides of the rotor in the casing. It would save much work. Do cutting and no drilling to fit dc motor.
I should do that in one of my next projects.
Thanks for watching 😊
You cant Test it in bricks since it has No Hammerdrill function
very good for making holes in butter
Why throw your old car away when you can put a lawn mower engine in it.
😅😂😅😂😅😂
This perfectly demonstrates that just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should do it.
I'd imagine after all the parts, the solder, the electrics and all the time and hassle of drilling bits out, cutting bits off, then all the worry that its going to electricute someone or blow up at some point, it may just have been easier to buy a new one.
You got that right!!!
Tht s it..!
Muito bom gostei 👏👏
so, you took a broken drill and made a dangerous broken drill.
LOL
Or at best a useless one
Lol 😆 why is it dangerous
supid people will call fixing something dangerous
😂😂😂😂😂

it is very good to see inside.
you are really nice!
Great technique no doubt. We just need to realize that over engineered products can be simpler and cheaper if the required parts are replaced. Eg brushes. This drill is now imbalanced and can only be used for low torque jobs. Your engineering skills are 😊👍.
Yeah, i also noticed we can't use that for hard wood. But what if he welded the new motor to the old part?

😂
Can you use the gears to replace powerwheel gears as well.
Yes, much better alignment!
I like using the motor itself to make drill using dc source and throwing the broken drill 😀
no torque then.
Loved it
Thank you for the Share.
...and so you can the next 10,000 holes drill . Good idea, ......... maybe on a drill stand for small narrow work with a clamp for workpieces.
Greetings from Holland.
Look very good. Well done !!
Ques: What is (are) Specifications of the motor you used for this repair, Electrical & mechanical, model, size ??
THanks

It might feel like a waste of time to some, but skills some people have are always worth watching.learning something new is always worth watching.they probably said your wasting my time to Ben Franklin to.
Well fine, but I'd like to see people using tools and vice correctly.
Cool you made a drill out of a drill!
But you still need to bolt the body of the motor to the casing or it with proper torque will spin inside the casing . Use the mounting holes on the front facing it the motor housing.
Thanks for this video...good for us who cant afford to buy new one.
My feelings exactly, I'm fortunate to have several high end tools, meaning too expensive, but knowing how to repair anything is priceless.
I haven't always been able to just walk into a store and throw money at the cash register in order to always buy the best tool in stock, but had always bought the best I could with what money I had In My Pocket, which fortunately have lasted for fifty plus years.
And now that I do have several of those upper-end tools I still tend to use my older corded tools just for old times sake.
Hello. Good job, but the circuit you are running the motor with, where did you get it from or how did you make it
Don't throw away, repair it! Seems legit!
Informative video. now see how motor connects to chuck - actually offset from one another.

Thank you my friend you give me an idea to use again my defective drill thumbs up👍👍👍
those wire ties are sharp, especially the angle you cut them at - they will cut
Nice job man 🙏
Nice sir galing
so let me get this straight.... he took an old drill, removed the old motor, replaced it with a smaller weaker motor and got 4 Million views for that. Congratulations my friend. the title should be how to convert and old drill to 4 Million views! Something I was never able to do even with legit videos.
Maybe if I lived in Cuba, otherwise spend $12 dollars at Harbor freight and get a new drill
HF drill.... really ?! Lol.
lol thats exactly what I was thinking while watching this

Great for drilling through plasticine
yo pensé en algo parecido . pero tengo una duda con que estas alimentando el motor 775 ?
Lot of complaints but over 2 MILLION views, mission accomplished!

Good luck with it. Show us a video with you drilling through a 4x4
Is the replscement motor as powerful as the original?
Very good idea
5 minutes and 54 seconds of my life wasted!
I only made it 1.9 minutes before stopping 😌
@Gold Talon Ditto.
My 1st clue was he called it a drill machine.
So I jumped to the end to find out what the cool thing was and it wasn't.
I definitely agree with your opinion of "amazing" things.
I always kick myself if I forget to jump to the end and find it wasn't worth it.

thought he was gonna repurpose it into a mill, but quickly realized he was just killin the clutch... i was like , wtf are you doi.... then remembered you cant fix stupid!
Nice idea but how you connected reverse forward switch please explain
Great vid!
Shoulda just gon'ahead and fixed that power cord while you were at it. Hehe.
Basically, you take out the big motor and put a smaller motor in. But was the big motor so impossible to repair?
Changing the brushes would have been my first move. Worn down to nearly nothing and not making full contact.
If that fails, throw away. Not worth the time.
Do you really think those zip ties are going to keep the new motor from spinning in the drill case when the drill bit has a lot of pressure on it, or it's stopped by a piece of metal you're selling through?
😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣you killing ME
Blessings brother 🙏
Great 👍👍👍👍👍
Perfect job! You managed to revive a drill with a worthless chuck that will cost you not even 10 bucks to buy new with a modern chuck.
I still use keyed chucks less slip on a drill bit
Very good
Hello ,what is the circuit 220 ac to 12 v dc, good proyect
220 Volt AC to 12 volt dc, 1 can get adapter of laptop or any other device
That probably won't work, the drill probably needs more current than a laptop adaptor can produce. Actually, was this even a 12V motor? Looks more like AC->DC conversion without step-down, i.e., 265VDC or some such.
Good job but u need more details on it and make it also safe for ac inputs..
Where did you get the replacement motor
I expect a work of art from a 'King' of Homemade. But now i really dissappointed.
Thumbs up for effort 👍
What kind of motor used?
Great job! This is very helpful in a pinch!
Nice project idea if doing it just for fun but not really practical.

Guard removal of the grinder is a no no. After you have, or seen one explode you'll be a believer in grinder guards.
The grinder guard gets into the way of a lot of cutting application such as cutting , sanding granite.
Just make sure your body is not in the same plane as the disc. If the disc ever broke, pieces will miss your body. However, I have NEVER seen a disc broken when in use for almost 20 yrs using the grinder. I am still careful though.
I was cutting a sewer pipe and it exploded. spent 25 min looking for disk . I gave up and headed to Home Depot and there it was in my car tire 40 feet away.. later I saw trhe skip marks on asphalt . looking back, never so happy to see flat tire and not flat friend.
How about steel 1/4 in or thicker
Resourceful. But chuck-keys belong in museums. Also my Black & Decker recently packed up,(after 25+ yrs of DIY) so I pigeon- holed it and bought a new, keyless chuck, entry level Bosch.
Good video bro. Love renewing things.
he did not renew it he replaced old for broken lol
If you are going to do that much work on it, replace the broken cord also. BUT, with the price of the motor, new cord, and the time, I would have bought a new drill. Very good idea though. Very lucky to find a motor that even fits.
You missed out on greasing the bearings!
Bless you for your dedication and hard work. Someone with your skills should think twice before spending 25$ labor time on a 10$ drill. Just a thought.
LMAO...he did it because he could, i think...multi-skill endeavour.
Ficou das boas👍👈
Hello, hope that you read It and give me an answer, I think many here want the answer, Where did you get the electronic circuit to convert ac to dc? Can you provide a diagram or a link to acquire it, I would be very grateful if you answer me, thanks
