- The team are in Cheshire, at the biggest horticultural event in the north, the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.
Adam Frost and Frances Tophill reveal the latest in garden design, as well as bringing plant perfection from some of the best nurseries and growers in the country. There is inspiration for small urban spaces in the Terrace Gardens, first-time builds by budding young designers, and affordable and achievable ideas in the long borders. And for even more border inspiration, Toby Buckland visits the historic double herbaceous border at nearby Arley Hall.

What part of Tassie?
Lovely garden ideas. Thanks for showing from Ireland.
Thank You, Javier.
I stopped going to garden show and built 5 acres of my own garden ideas in formal softened by planting . Tall hedges allley and fountains statues deep flower borders ornate metal gates .6 garden rooms around a folly dinning room . Work area and compost bins and greenhouse out of the way so not to take an edge off the gardens.
How lovely. That's what I would aim for, but it's so hard to get anyone with enthusiasm to help me achieve it.

Gardens today are not my idea of English bliss .Art and craft Jeakle Mawden and Robinson
I miss the days where Gardeners world was about plants. Even Carol strolls arround only introducing NEW HOT SHIT. I miss the days, where they created stuff, created gardens, talk about propagation. For me this has no value anymore and this feeling is encrouching since 3-4 years.
Why did the crime victims garden have to be so closely associated with the diversity garden?
Of course, there MUST be a garden for diversity 🙄
Probably has to appeal to some strand of D E I to get a spot but don’t worry, the diversity analogy fails.
It only works if someone is uprooting and cutting back any thuggish introduced species.
Would seem a limited native selection would be easier to manage and less destructive to the local ecosystem….
Thanks for sharing. I stongly disagree with wrestling being promoted on this show. The guy must have bipolar issues, if he thinks that's ok.
You do know that wrestling is athletic theatre, right? It combines mock combat with drama, under the premise (known colloquially as kayfabe) that the performers are competitive wrestlers.
You are more importantly not in any position to diagnose 'the guy'.
