That reverse bias and forward bias concept is not clear between p- body and n- as well n+ and p- body respectively

Hello,
Thank you for your video.
I have read that power MOSFETs which are vertical MOSFETs in general where the drain is at the back and the source and gate are in the same plane at the front can have a pinch too.
But I wonder how to represent the reduction in channel length(pinch off see in lateral MOSFET) for vertical mosfets due to the increase in drain voltage because the drain is at the back, away from the creation of the channel position.

Sir...one doubt.. MOSFETs can block only forward voltage then why we are adding n- layer for increasing the reverse blocking capacity?
