Thank you so much sir for giving these videos 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Super sir.. Perfect notes I got it 👍🎉🎉👻👻
Your lectures help me alot
Sir why the voltage during tb period is negative. @ 28.0
Sir power frequency diode also known as Genaral porpose diode, is it right sir
Sir...after hole to attract electron the recombination will happen again????
Excellent
Thank you sir, very helpful
sir why dont we use (p-) layer instead of (n-) layer?
Very good. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you sir. Perfect
Sir when we open 1 and 1'. I think if i am right , at the same time 2 and 2' are closing.so discharging can be happen through 2' itself.
Then what is the need of diodes here.
Please explain anybody who knows about it
sir, how can I find inverter and ac voltage controller lectures and notes because those are not there in this playlist and drive link..
Sir IGBT stands for Insulated gate BJT or Integrrated Gate BJT
Sir according to video igbt stands for integrated gate bipolar transistor but I didn't saw this anywhere on internet but on internet igbt stands for insulated gate bipolar transistor which is correct sir and how 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Is IGBT insulated gate or intergrated gate?
How to reduce the time tb in order to make a fast recovery diode ?!
Sir, to increase the voltage withstanding capability we are inserting n- layer (drift region). Can this also be done by introducing a P- layer? One more thing, the drift region, and buffer region are the same or different?
how the voltage drop across the diode is positive during time (ta) in the reverse recovery characteristics?as current direction has changed so the voltage drop will also change its polarity.
@@lecturesinelectricaleng sir i went through the book you referred but still at one point i am facing confusion that is,when the current becomes negative during the the time ta the diode remains in forward bias.this is what is written in the book.but as the current direction is changing so the voltage drop should also change its polarity to satisfy the kvl equation because the source voltage has aslo change its polarity during turn off time?
sir if you plse clear this confusion then i will be highly obliged.
@@shubhambhattacharya7787 Reminding you that you asked a doubt 3 years ago 🙂
Hello sir, what topics need to be studied of power electronics and what questions be asked for competitive exam
Please Sir. Could you activate the subtitles? I'm not native speaker of english, my native language is Spanish. But I think your course is the best, unfortunately I can't listen very well some parts :(. Please activate subtitles.
sir ,Is there any advantage of frequent switching of diode?
Explanation is very good. Sir can you upload videos on microgrid system?
@@lecturesinelectricaleng okay Sir. What about HVDC in detail?
At instant swith is open how Voltage is high?
thanks a lot sir
Sir.. in order to turn off a diode, atfirst storages charges removed from the region..such that it will regain its reverse blocking capacity... That's ok sir.. but my doubt is.. How can I remove those charge.. automatically it cannt remove..
How the current flows in the reverse direction..?? What we need to do inorder to make a flow of current in reverse direction?
Sorry.....what is the meaning when you say that (n-) absorb depletion layer of reverse pn- junction???
i believe that he meant that the depletion region spreads to most of the (n-) region for a relative smaller spread in (p+) region since (n-) region is lightly doped
you can see this video to get acquainted with the concept of depletion region
ruclips.net/video/4SlfaocMfdA/видео.html
very nice sir
sir during the turn on time why the voltage is rising till the current reaches to a value and after that the voltage falls to a minimun value?
I also have this same doubt... i think it has something to do with the depletion region
Because the diode needs extra voltage to remove the charge carriers stored in the drift regionand and when all the carriers comes out and depletion region ends the current value could be dropped suddenly for steady output current.
3:28 after this, not understand.......whole sentence about reverse recovery time
Nice video
I cannot find the material... Please help me

Superb explaination sir, the way can understand by every electrical Engineering student.
Sir, every derivation and problems provided in the course is enough for SSC Je Mains exam sir????
Please reply Sir
Thanks sir
sir handwritten notes are not provided in the link provided in description
@@lecturesinelectricaleng sir there are notes, but they are not handwritten. They are computer notes which are written on the glass screen.
@@lecturesinelectricaleng sir will handwritten notes be provided also for this subject or only glass screen notes
sir , mujhe to aapka aaj tak 1 bhi lecture samjh nahi aaya.
Sir plz.... Can u give me ur meeting code
Sir when i click the given link then it is automatically on the playstore/ crome browsers whenever i m already download the google meet.... Sir plz Help me....😔
Sir in the link of material it is empty...
Ok sir🙏
