Materials:
1 piece of 20 gauge square wire, 8 inches long each
22 gauge round wire(no need to measure and pre cut, just keep it on the spool and use as needed)
24(or 22) gauge half-round wire(no need to measure and pre cut, just keep it on the spool and use as needed)
1 cabochon, mine is a round Peach Moonstone about 7-8mm

Thank you for telling it's dead soft..I kept failing on everything I tried on other pieces..I tried dead soft, omg what a difference.
Dead soft is nice and bendable, I tried half hard before and it was very tricky and I could barely bend it.
Thank you for your fabulous tutorials Oxana. You're so awesome to do this for us🙏 i I have a cabochon that's about one and aquarter inches. And I'm trying to figure out a way to make a boho Sun pattern for a customer. Not sure if it would work with a stone that big??

So cute!!! They would make a nice earrings using smaller wire as well.
You just have to be careful as using thinner wire for the sun's rays will make them bend more easily and result in a more fragile design

Thanks Oxana. Just finished one with a small yellow glass "stone". I can't believe that those 2 wires will trap the stone securely but I trust you so giving it a try. Making nice round wire wraps in the circle was the hardest for me but not bad for my first time. Thanks for such a nice design for a gray day!

I absolutely love your jewelry. I started making wired jewelry and if you don't mind I went to Rio grande as you suggested. Can I get silver wire in spools??
Thank you! You buy the silver wire by the foot or by weight, and they do put it on a spool for you, or at least when I've purchased it, it was on a spool

Bonjour liagre Betty, elle utilise du fil 100% cuivre, carré et demi rond, et rond je crois. Mais on peux n'utiliser que du fil rond. Ou un autre fil ... plaqué, etc.
