    Your rays are perfect! Mine always looked wavy, so I watched you again, and realized I wasn't squashing them like I used to. You're the best! Thank you so much, there's lots of fun stuff to make with the rays/pyramids....yours is lovely 🙋‍♀️💙✝️🇺🇸

    Was the cabochon flat on the back? Would a marble work for this wire wrap? I plan on giving it a try. Your videos are so very helpful to me.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад +1

      Yes it was flat on the back. I haven't tried a marble, it would have to be pretty tiny as this pendant is quite small.

    I love it! Thank you Oxana💖 I am wondering if you tried using another material as the scrap metal to form the rays? It would have to be rigid but maybe not as difficult to pull out?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад +3

      I recently used just craft wire, it was round, and I found it easy to pull out

    Dear Oxana, is there anything I can do to prevent my gold-plated wire from turning a dark ugly yellow color with age? thank you

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад

      gold shouldn't darken, I think maybe with age the gold plating is rubbing off to reveal whatever metal is underneath

    Could you give an approximate length of how much wire is needed for the rays?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  5 месяцев назад

      If you keep the wire on the spool as you use it then you will end up using just as much as needed. I've never measured before since I always use this method. If you are needing the length because you are ordering the wire and deciding how much to order, I'd just order a few feet, you'll have enough then and some left over as well.
