Simple Wire Wrap For Thick Stones Using Round Wire
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 28 ноя 2024
- In this video I'll use a variation of my Simple Wire Wrapped Cabochon Pendant design to wrap a thicker stone which requires 4 wires instead of 3 wires.
It's a little different but still the same concept.
It uses round wire for those who don't have any square wire on hand!

I hope you enjoyed this weeks video!
Halloween is coming up and I’m excited!
What’s your favorite holiday? Let me know!
Have a great week! 💜🎃
Awesome skills. I'm a Maori Pounamu (Greenstone/Jade) Carver from New Zealand. Wonderful alternative to finish some of my traditional Maori design pieces. Thank you for an amazing presentation. It's fantastic to see your expertise in real time. You are Masterful !!! Nga Mihi Nui (Thanks very much)
Wonderful thank you very much! ☺️💜
Beautiful piece, so well done, elegant. Love it.
Thank you so much! 😊
For me, the wooden ring clamp and guitar pick are the game changers ! So glad I found this video! Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! 💜
I thinks it’s awesome. I love it. I have some beautiful oval stones that are thick. That’s for the inspiration! I don’t celebrate any holidays anymore. I have to tell you it’s been 28 yrs and it’s so freeing. I give gifts through out the year when they least expect it! When I see something that reminds be of someone or I think, “know who would love this?” That’s when I pick up a gift. It’s more enjoyable for me. The gifts I give are more meaningful and people are genuinely surprised and grateful. The last year I celebrated a holiday there were many out there shopping and I overheard quite a few say to someone they were shopping with, I’m just going to get this if they don’t like it too bad. Or they’ll have to be happy with this because it’s all I can afford….. you get where I’m going with this. So that was it. I never celebrated after that. Since then I’ve looked into the origins of each holiday and not one of them are Christian based! Not even Christmas. I’m extremely happy and never stressed out about holidays anymore. Win win! 💝🥰🤗
That’s very inspiring!
Thanks for sharing! ☺️💜
You photography is excellent. Especially during your examples of wire weaving patterns. Love watching your tutorials. I always learn so much. TY for your excellent efforts. ❤
Great to hear! Thank you so much! ☺️💜
I made it and it came out pretty good I think. You are a great teacher of wire wrapping stones, thanks so much😊👍
Wonderful! Great to hear!! ☺️💜
Love the guitar pic idea. I'm using one of my old small plastic key tag cards & it also works well.
That's a great idea! ☺️💜
Simply beautiful, thank you Melissa x❤ I love Christmas with my family xx
Wonderful! ☺️💜
You explained each step of the way really well. Thank you for sharing your work.
Glad it was helpful!
Look beautiful!
Many thanx. Beautiful as always.
Thank you!
Hi Melissa! Love this! Have lots of thick stones. Holidays? Every holiday in the spring/summer months😊 P.S. just realized I've been using my wooden ring holder WRONG! I've held the wires vertical in it, instead of horizontal. Wires wobbled too much...dang! 😮
Wonderful! I don’t even know if I’m holding them right lol!
It works for me! ☺️💜
Really like this wiring technique, thanks for sharing will give this one a try!😊
Wonderful! 💜
Very nice!
Thanks!
Beautiful!
Thank you! ☺️💜
Love it you have the best video
Thanks!
I have a lot of thick stones and this design will really show them off! You're amazing - your pliers seen to be an extension of the hand wielding them 😊
Halloween is my favorite holiday. When else can kids indulge their fantasies (costumes) and threaten adults with unspecified mischief if they aren't given candy? I'm all for kid power! It also happens to be my anniversary 😁
Awesome! 🎉🎃
Always look forward to your tutorial and a great way to start my week with your channel! Appreciate you and your talent! Halloween is always on the top of my hol-i-dazes list. 👻💜 Thank you again! Have a wonderful week!
Right on! 😱🎃
Have a great week! 💜
Beautiful! Thanks for the tutorial. You taught it very well!
You’re welcome 😊thanks!
Do you like the wooden clap better or the metal what’s good for beginners thank you
I’m starting to!
Lovely pendant. I couldn't help but notice your left hand though. Would you mind if I tried to make it feel better?
There’s no chance.
Bone on bone arthritis ☹️
I think surgery is in my future.
If you send me a recent photo of the hand I can try anyway, no cost involved
Did you change the title? I only noticed cause i saw the word chonky. Lol. My son and i always use that word for our overweight cat, plus i think it's an adorable descriptor! Either way, i love your designs! I've made quite a few 'with you'! 💜🤗
That’s funny! lol
Yea!
I work with animals so we use that term a lot! 😆
Same Halloween 🎃
🎃
New to wrapping. What is the name of the wooden device you are holding the wire with?
Wooden ring clamp
What do you think a good set of pliers is on Amazon to start thank you
Not sure. I use swanstroms from Rio Grande
Strange question for you, but did you happen to go to school in Geneva, IL?
Nope, Schaumburg.
There is only one holiday...Halloween. Even as a kid, I loved it. I never liked Christmas or Easter or even my birthday...just Halloween, when I could be my true self. Now, it's Halloween every day!!!
Yes!!! 🙌🏻
I just so happen to have some labradorite to practice on :3
Fabulous! ☺️💜
I wish I could afford sterling silver wire or knew where to get it at a reasonable price. It looks beautiful and I’m not a big fan of copper.
You can check out the enameled copper at parawire.com
@@ZurickDesigns thank you so much 😊
😍😍
Simple. Yeah, ok. I've been trying for hours and all I've done is waste money, waste copper and make my fingers sore.
That’s a matter of knowing your skill level. I didn’t say it was beginner friendly. Getting better at this craft means many, many hours of practice, sore fingers and wasted metal. At least it wasn’t sterling silver. Copper is a great metal to start with. Hang in there and keep practicing ☺️
