Mike, what I like most about your channel is your honesty and dedication to the beginning woodworkers. I’m new to woodworking and over the past few months have watched more videos than I can guess. My biggest complaint with a lot of them is they begin by saying it’s an item for the beginning woodworker. Then, as they progress through the project they are using specialized tools rarely found in a beginner’s home shop. If we don’t have a particular tool, you calmly tell us what else we can use to accomplish the same result. I’ve been putting together a nice starting set of tools but may never own professional equipment like other ‘beginner instructors’ suggest. In case you can’t tell, I love your channel! MANY thanks!
Thank you Louis. Thats a very nice compliment. I'm glad that you get some value out of these videos. Thats my goal. To create and inspire. I have an excellent video coming up where I buy and use the most basic tools to make an outdoor bench. Keep me posted on your progress. Good luck my friend.
Thanks Married Man. Lol. Yeah I just up scrap around the shop. I thought the mahogany and pine looked good together. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Nice design, can't wait to batch a few of these out this weekend 😀...."and just like that" thanks yet again for the helpful videos and instructions. 😉👍
Thanks John. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Really easy to batch out. Great sellers as well. Thanks for commenting and your kind words. If you have any ideas on future projects, just let me know.
@@Woodcraft716 How about a simple charcuterie board, I know that is not hard but I like to see other people's ideas on handles and designs (I make them as a good way to bring people into look at my other projects when I do a craft show) and of course there's always the wooden american flag (I like to make them as baseball holders also, adds a little more to the build and usage of the artwork).
they look all great! 👏 love, that you combined pine and mahogany for one of those. i used some thin stripes of pine in a cutting board once and received some criticism for that. but after soon two years, that board is still perfectly fine. 👍
Very good. I have a suggestion. On the template , put the cuts in for the glasses to slide in. Don’t remove any material, but it provides a line for a person to start the cut and follow until it hits the drill out. Question, how far in was the drilling point for the glasses?
Thanks Lawrence. The wine, yeah, I just stuck my sticker over the label. Its real easy and I've sold many. Thanks for watching and always supporting me. 👍
Thanks Earl. I bet you could use an old ski. Sounds sweet. I think you should try it and let me know how it turns out. Thanks for watching and your continued support. 👍
Neat idea but the people I know who drink wine do so from a box- got any holders for thos??? hahaha nice build buddy ill make a few for gifts, and seeing how I work in a glass factory I can get all the glasses I need for free lol
