    Did this project in shop class in high school. I made mine 8 feet long! It took a LONG time!

    Brilliant video, i was googling how to carve out a figure eight knot, and your video has been a super great help to me. Your step by step process and your end clip @ 6min, showing the different stages is so easy to follow. The tip about cutting along the sides is a great and ill be certainly doing this. thanks again

      Thanks Nate. It's one of those great projects that was lost for a while because carving it by hand took much more skill and patience. Now it can be done in an afternoon. Thanks for the comment buddy. 👍

    My Dad made 2 of these with his pocket knife. One had a 4 post box at the end with little balls whittled out inside this box.
