Thanks for the info, very useful. Seems like an obstacle that DJI put in to try to avoid paying out under their DJI Care cover.
Thanks for the awesome video!!
Glad to help mate
Great video! That's such a shady way to screw the consumer.
im going through that process right now
sounds like a bit of a nightmare process.. quick question, is the "commercial" product guaranteed new or is it possibly a refurb?
I'm sure they'll kink out the bugs as they handle it more, just remember to post something on the forums if you get lost in the shuffle. Not sure if it's a refurb or new, but it did come with all the little stickers and had no marks on it. If I had to guess I think it means new without the packaging.
Exactly
If you bought a refurbished drone it's going to be refurbished if you bought it in your drone I think it'll be a new one but either way the refurbished keep on getting fixed and they think they're like new and they are not they're taking s**** everywhere
Ooohhh that comes across as a dodgy way to stop people getting the DGI care. I hate it when you pay for something like that but the company tries to wiggle out of their responsibilities.
Hopefully it's just launch issues and they'll clean up their act in time.
Mine crashed yesterday into water 😢 I’d partly say it was my fault but the drone has a mind of its own sometimes and drifted upwards and to the side by itself hitting a tree then tumbled into the river. I’m just hoping I can get a replacement from DJI under the flyaway cover. I’ve only had my mini 2 just over 2 weeks 🤦♂️ so I’m more than distraught especially how much it cost.
Did you get fly away coverage?
@@SharpSh00ter165 I went back to the river about 2 days after and found my drone completely destroyed by the water but at least I got a new replacement from DJI because I sent in the broken one I still had to pay a small fee ££ but not as much as if it was a flyaway £££
My best experience has been with Apple and Amazon by far.
Nice one, can you share some stories?
I wanna buy a dji drone but then I hear this and I think this sounds like crap why would you buy extra insurance and they won’t cover you
I paid dji for years for insurance now.... I lost 3 Mavic drones in four years and never got 1 cent or any hardware returned. The funny thing, I lost all the money I paid on Insurances too. In short; if you can not return the complete drone you are out of luck. One drone I returned but dji did not help me because the drone had water damage. Please guys, don't get screwed. Dji is evil.
Sorry for what happened to you
