When you said, "You are a person of value whether you add value or not", I chuckled to myself and said "Pffffffttttt, yea right" and then became sad afterwards because I truly can't wrap my heart around that. :(
I think I might be a Type 3, but I’m not that successful. In fact, that’s what eats away at me and makes me feel depressed-constantly thinking that I don’t measure up. Is it possible to be a Type 3 despite occasionally falling into mild depressive episodes and not being as disciplined?
If Enneagram 3 might view the Enneagram as a way to leverage its power to push themselves harder toward success - Which Enneagram type would use the Enneagram to "not get lost in the world"?

When you said 3s had value regardless if they “add value”, I laughed because I didn’t believe you. And then I got sad that I thought that.
