It was so good to have you guys come onboard as a sponsor of our festival this year. We are pleased you enjoyed the event - even with the weather turning on us :( It made for tricky cooking conditions and even just getting around was hard, but everyone just seemed to enjoy themselves which is great.

Thanks for having us, we had a blast despite the weather. ~ Ben

I’m really not a great cook and I almost never have a camp fire, but this episode made me consider heading there for the next one!

It's worth the trip I reckon, Coralie, you'll be hooked on campfire cooking by the end of the weekend. ~ Ben

Think I will have to make the next one. Do my fly and hire a car to camp in, with minimal gear thing. Sounds like so much fun and really interesting! The fan selfie had to happen sooner or later to our "Snowy's Celebrities". Lauren and Ben you have given me some ideas for offering up to date bush ballads, full of strong independent women and exploring contemporary values with a an under current of urban life and issues.

You don't need much gear at the festival, and it's not far into town for supplies. Maybe we'll see you on the stage in 2024? ~ Ben

Monday, 10:35am, Mango Hill. Griff once again lives vicariously through his favourite RUclips channels instead of actually working on his tiny home ute. I shall wander outside after this...

How long did you take for the trip up from Adelaide, Lauren? On our recent trip from Northern NSW down to Adelaide, we did it in about six days and it felt really rushed.
Mind you, it’s a bit harder travelling with a young kid.

Lauren literally drove up in two days, Coralie, she was on a mission to get there rather than make a trip of it. It was her and her partner so they shared driving. ~ Ben

@@SnowysOutdoors Damn. I need to get my 10-year-old onto getting her Learners and put her to work. 🤣🤣🤣

I ran into a long-time friend (ex-teen girlfriend) who runs a butcher supply company with her husband. They are big into the smoking/barbecuing scene. I wonder if you'd be interested in covering something like that one day? They have smoking festivals much like the camp oven festival. My friend owns a business in Brisbane, and up Bundy way. I won't mention names because I don't want people to think I'm spamming a business. Hint, they make a dry glaze mixture that looks just like the sands around Uluru and the Red Centre

That's probably a bit left field of our core business, Brad, thanks for the thought though. I'll keep an eye our for that dry glaze, sounds interesting. ~ Ben
