    I don't have a delica but you make a straight forward guide, clear and concise, I reckon I could do a swap by myself.

    The 380 motor looks so different out of the car. Love my 380, great car.

    G'day Jack - to confirm, with this conversion we will use the timing belt and tensioner kit for 380 - but the water pump kit for 6g72? Or can we use the whole t-belt, tensioner, water pump kit from 6g72 on the 380 motor?

    Hi, from what I know the D4's have a 4 speed auto and the 380's have the 5 speed. Could you have also changed the trans as well or not possible due to 4x4 ?

    • @jackk1296
      @jackk1296  Год назад +1

      yep kept old trans to keep 4x4

    my engine is just like this one, it is leaking oil there in the exhaust manifold that fits into the engine where the gasket goes! the oil does not drip on the floor, it leaks very little, almost nothing! this is a problem should i change the gasket?

    Is there a lot more vibration/noise in the cab compared to the 4?

    You need a new timing sensor pulley thing, or replace the roll pines.👍

      Not sure where you are talking about? the whole timing kit and tensioner got done, the cam angle sensor gets swapped from the old motor

      Hey mate by the time I priced getting the heads done etc the 380 swap worked out cheaper then fixing the original

    Theres a 6g75 at the local junkyard I might grab it. Yeah dont be like me lose bolts then go to bolt shop who then sell you m12x1.5mm nuts when u asked twice for m12x1.25mm nuts so you cant put your subframe on or put your engine in on a 3 day long weekend.

    • @jackk1296

      Ah mate I hate that! don’t lose the fly wheel bolts they are the most expensive bolts in the world according to mitsubishi they must be solid gold at $30 each bolt
