Ok this was my fastest internet purchase ever! Very handy plugin and it is litterally for the same price as 1 month Adobe subscription for After Effects. But I also have to add something to the tutorial. You can use animated titles with it. All you have to do is to make a compound clip and then click on the beginning of it when choosing a media for dropzone. Now you can use callout titles.
@@froggyjosh animated titles are located in the top left corner of FCPX. They have 3D movement. Like what you would see at the beginning of a motion picture movie.... The words or letters you choose brake away or move in 3D space.
I've used this plugin for a bit now and the new 2.0 update is so good! It's a little finicky sometimes but I've used this a lot for text tracking in client videos. Worth the money.

Otherwise nothing happens... great tutorial and plugin, definitely better than switching back to After Effects

I bought the Coremelt TrackerX plugin, but I couldn´t get it to work. And your coupon code for the AutoTracker 2.0 worked so I got this one too. Now I´m gonna give this one a shot :)
Been playing around a little and comparing Coremelts TrackerX and Auto-Tracker from Pixel Film Studios, as a newbie like I am, and the Auto-Tracker 2.0 is MUCH easier to use and gives me much smoother results. And its about 1/4 of the price of the TrackerX plugin.
Bought this plagin after I watched this movie, and it did its job pretty fine, but since I upgraded to Mac with the Apple Silicon M1 processor I got such a pain in the ass with the whole pixel film studious plagins as long as around 90% of them are not compatible with the M1

So, in all the videos I've seen about PFS trackers (yours included) everyone turns the tracking accuracy up to 100% (of course). what's a use-case that I WOULDN'T want it to be at 100%? (why is that even an included option? I can't think of a case where I'd want less than 100% accuracy.) Thanks, keep it up, please!

The results are great, but I really don't like the mess on the timeline I need to make in order to use the plugin. It's a pity that FCPX doesn't have a native motion-tracker integrated into the app properly so you could use it without TITLE objects. 😱
