Having a workshop is the dream! However I live on a Dutch barge so I'm building myself a hanging locker which takes two bikes, plus a hidden "workshop" which is a secret panel in a wall which opens and reveals all the tools mounted on the wall with a small workbench with vice, and some storage drawers underneath. It's small but I hope it will work pretty well.
Great space. I'm envious, sold my house of 20 years and moved into a travel trailer last March, and my shop is the ONLY thing I miss. I now have to plan builds and repairs based on the weather, which isn't great, as the best times to work are also the best times to ride. But I did build my last wheel with my Park truing stand on a TV tray;-0. Awesome video!
It’s taken me about 2 years to get my bike room organized how I want it and it still feels like it’s constantly evolving. Holding strong with 6 bikes in the quiver but there’s no telling what will happen when another one magically appears… because we all know that will happen. Rad space, Dustin! Thanks for the tour.
Those bike racks are pure genius. I like that you took 4 months to get it right and others here took longer. It gives me hope and the patience not to rush. Your wife is a wise woman. I have taken onboard her advice.
I noted this on instagram, but since you've "finished" the wall and ceiling cavities, you really do want a heat source in there to help keep the mold away. A little cadet heater with a fan would be perfect if there isn't already one in there.
We've got a similar bike wall with Steadyracks and love it - wondering how far apart you've mounted yours? Ours are 50cm apart at the moment for a total of four racks, but I'm thinking we could go closer together and add extra racks as the bikes don't currently get in the way of one another very much.
Maybe a small attic for big light items and things rarely needed but necessary every now and then, also help to heat and cool down space. Also help with quieting the space and acoustics
Rad. Our recently purchased first home came with a pretty nifty Tough Shed that I want to turn into a mini version of what you dud here. Thanks for the ideas DK!
These work well and can be re used for a while: amzn.to/3GOHTrq Recently I have just been using this nasal oil before bed and its way more comfortable: amzn.to/3HgWYDC I would try both to see which is a match for you. Hope it helps.
Hey Dustin, did you uncomplicate you life by getting rid of a bunch of bikes, or do you have additional storage as well? I seem to recall you having several other bikes in your collection that I do not see on your wall.
Ordering my new Steady Rack today! Not cheap but you have sold me on it Dustin, thanks dude, you are the best! BTW, can you lend me $100? 😉 Just kidding, no really, you are the best.
I was very nervous putting my brand new beach cruiser on this rack. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxG6JIgwJhur8_Rg8UeQ3EmePzi_wSncL8 But after reading many reviews I decided to get this one and take a chance. When arrived it was very simple to adjust and put together. I also added spike tape over the metal hooks before securing and tightening the straps, and no scratches. I also purchased the top bar made by the same company so that my cruiser sits straight on the rack without having to turn upside down. Extra bungee cords are used to secure the front wheel from flapping and even piece of mind knowing your bike is secure. Definitely recommend...
Dude! there's no such thing as TOO MANY BIKES. What's wrong with you. LoL Great video, I'm struggling with the same concept of how to organize my bike stuff.
French cleats have always impressed me with how versatile, affordable, and easy to produce the system is.

It's like flipping thru posters back in the day, except bikes. I love it.
With prices this low and the 2023 catalog so flush, you're gonna have a line around the block at EBD Enterprises!!
😂🤣😭 I’m dying

I feel you on this!! I’m excited for you to get a shop rolling again.
You should make a video about all your bikes and their different uses!
💯 agree! It’s time I finally make this happen.

A mantra that helps me on the daily is "Anything worth doing is worth doing slow"
keep chipping away and it will be completed!
@@EverythingsBeenDone I like it. I also like riding my bikes slow n steady too, so there's that.
That’s a killer work shop.

Let’s see some split boarding! Love the vids!
I’ve got one on chopping block! Just for you.
That space is sweet my bike/ art studio kinda overlaps but it works having a space like that just makes you feel all warm deep down inside I love it
Space for projected is SO important. I know it’s a privilege but it has also been a goal of ours since 2010.
Loved all the little details. Simply had to read all the hillarious markings on the drawers. This kind of stuff is definitely your strenght 😀
MagnÍfico garaje. Muy chulo.
Fantastica idea para almacenar las bicis en vertical.
Bien hecho!!👍😃
Thank you!
What a quiver of bikes. Congrats on the new shop.
Thanks Brother!
Dude, this is the dream. I'm currently using my living room/dinning room and my tool cart/box is stuffed into the pantry under the stairs.
You will get there!
Respect for using what you have right now.

Sweet mancave! Nice work, Dustin!
Thanks bud! This was very rewarding process
Super helpful - thank you Dustin. Do you remember where you got those wall mounted bins from. Game changer
Mega workshop! What a beauty 🏁🏁❤️
I call her Sheddy Merckx
@@EverythingsBeenDone that’s a brilliant name!!😂😂👌👌🏁🏁🚴♀️🚴♀️🚴♀️
Dude, just found your channel………..love it!
Thank you for the tour! The steady racks are definitely making an appearance in our bike room! A teeny bit spendy but too slick to say no!
Glad to see it done! Seeing the process on your ig story was pretty good to see it come together
Like things together? I LOVE when things are together!!
Just finished insulating my shed and putting it all out for the bikes what a nightmare well done to you
Amazing space. And you’ve still got the rafters for the inevitable bike overflow.
I’m oh so very tempted!!
Pegboard is where it’s at!
Ben knows! You are actually one of my organization inspirations.
This came out awesome. Both the workshop and the video.
Gear storage !!! Need to create that space for sure always over flowing !!

That is one awesome space and a great collection of bikes. Nice to have a smart wife. I have one of those too. Thanks for sharing. Take care, Al
Appreciate the shared good vibes Al!
Perfect timing as I’m organizing and rearranging my room and storage spaces this week.
Also, what’s in that “Not Weed” bin, sir??
Hope this helps!
I think that things is empty 😢
Beautiful and well thought out.
Really good looking shop. I think I'd consider a security system too, but I live in a shady city.
Nice! Next thing you'll be lecturing bike mechanics with Parker tools!✌️
Quality Stuff! Enjoyed and made me laugh when you threw out stuff! Thank You!
nice layout--pre-fab shed was a great choice
They really make life easier
Super exciting project! And the opportunity to… program things is always exciting too
This was a very gratifying one.
Heck yeah Dustin. This video rules! Have you seen the Tom Sachs studio situation? Super cool
That dude is a legend.
always watching you Dude..from 🇵🇭
Ordering steady racks now
Dang! I love all the organization!
My man!
Well now we need some split board content!
🫡 you got it!
Nice! I love a good tour video.
❤️
Loved the not weed box
🤣😜
Dustin, can you remind me what you use to keep your nose (nostrils) open when you sleep? I have the same problem. Thanks.

@@EverythingsBeenDone Thank you for the reply. I also like your new shop and may try some of the ideas you used.
Consider adding large J hooks on the rafter beams for hanging extra wheelsets. Amazon has them cheapest.
This is a great suggestion! I will implement. Thanks JP
Nice, thanks for sharing! What handlebars are you using on your mountain bikes? Looks like comfy backsweep!
100%. It’s a beauty.
Appreciate the Positive Vibes!
jelly! nice space!
🤜🤛
I'm taking notes
Nice work! Where did you get the pre fab shed?
It’s from tuff shed. You actually get to design the layout of the structure. Very helpful.
Hey Dustin, did you uncomplicate you life by getting rid of a bunch of bikes, or do you have additional storage as well? I seem to recall you having several other bikes in your collection that I do not see on your wall.
You are so on point.
There are several other bikes squirreled away in an “outside bike storage” that we have.
Where is the yellow Triestina with the Mavic Wheels :( ?
It’s in the streaming studio.
You can see it on any of the EBD LIVE broadcast. Stop by I’ll introduce you two. 😉
The best ✌️
Awesome. Where do you wash your bikes? Did you plan for all that dirt and debris going into the plumbing?
This is where I wash the bikes: ruclips.net/video/ZeUlODK0_Jw/видео.html
short Answer is: outside
Great space! What are the dimensions of the shop?
So entertaining!
Well done! What e bike do you ride?
ITs a Creo: Heres a video with it: ruclips.net/video/_o8xKgIRiwo/видео.html
"If you have one to ... too many bikes" 🤣
What happened to where the bikes used to be? Great vid, 9 bikes to my name and been in the bike trade 20 years and can only dream of a space like this
@dustinklein who made the structure itself?
This was by tuff shed

Hahhahahahah
Yeah but what did you name it?
Haven’t settled currently thinking sheddy Merckx!?

🤣😂😭
Just installed 8 SteadyRacks only to realize I forgot the other two bikes were in the off-sight storage locker...oops!
We are exactly the same person! 🤦🏻♂️😂🤣
@@EverythingsBeenDone I got so much out of your video, thanks for posting!
I like my not weed box too lol
but a place for everything and so forth
If I have bad credit, will I be D Klein'ed?
Hahahahhahahahs
I could have used you while filming that.
Dedicated work facility is life with a wife.
Completely agree!
"not weed" lol sure
🙈🙉🙊
Why is this video only in 360p or in 1080p,but with premium seeable? 😡👎
check the gear settings
And that’s how you get all your bikes stolen at once…
What’s your solution?
