    Nice, even the lack of shuffling skills is authentic old school!

      😂 I was really lucky finding the Lotus in 2 games, although it didn’t always turn out great 🤷‍♂️

    Best use of copper tablet I have ever seen. Nice games.

      In an earlier version I played more Goblins, but I started testing out the tablets and really loved the consistency of them and how they go hand in hand with the aggro plan.

    I was hoping for the card drawn at 19:25 to be Eternal Flame, you would have won that game with so much style.
    Congrats!

    Do you think there's any merit to trying to splash green for that vanilla 2/2 RG goblin with no downside to fill out the curve?

    • @TimmytheSorcerer
      @TimmytheSorcerer  10 дней назад

      People have done that and besides the goblin you also get access to tranquility for the cop red and sylvan for aggro card draw. You could even consider playing 1 or 2 Berserk (adding Blood Lust with that on the ball lightning).
      The downside is that you always lose that little bit of consistency that makes the deck run so well. You’ll probably play with 8/9 green sources, 4 taiga, 4 City of Brass and the Mox. Another factor to think about is blood moon. In this deck, blood moon is an amazingly powerful card, but if you splash green you run the risk of the card working against you, so maybe cut it from the list 🤷‍♂️ Another one is City in a Bottle. It’s by far the best answer to an early Serendib or Erhnam (you see these creatures so often in os), but not as easy to play anymore if you run 4 city of brass yourself.

  • @joeb1522

    Other than the power in the red deck (which would still be a good deck without it), I really like how both decks were budget.

      @@TimmytheSorcerer it's SOOOOO good!

  • @Rorschachqp

    The red deck has too many useless cards. I would sub out a lot of artifacts and run 4x Fork and 4x Ironclaw Orcs. I would play a Strip Mine as well and four Stone Rain if you're going to play 4x Black Vise. No Copper Tablet. Also Jackal Pup is pretty good.

    • @TimmytheSorcerer
      @TimmytheSorcerer  Год назад +1

      I wanted to play goblins and Ball Lightning, I'm pretty pleased with the deck. I personally think that the best red aggro deck in the Swedish format is an Atog brew. They love to eat those nasty artifacts. If I would go more towards the land destruction plan, I would probably play with Shatters or maybe even a Shatterstorm. You need to take care of the mana rocks too.

    • @Rorschachqp
      @Rorschachqp Год назад +1

      @@TimmytheSorcerer Shatter is fine too, like 2x mainboard but basically your deck is Sligh but with some artifacts that neither attack nor block.
