I bought the same model of kazoo without the mic. Just happened to have a Donner contact mic lying around so I glued it to the kazoo. Excellent result. Incidentally, the chimney comes off so you can replace the membrane. It's not seriously a tone control. 🙂
I've watched, like, 20 electric kazoo videos today and this is the best so far. Most people desperately need to tune their kazoos.
