- Electric Kazoo Kazoobie Hummbucker With Guitar Effect Pedals Demo
We use kazoo with our ukuleles in our ukulele club in school. Some people love kazoos, some people hate them but they are a great way of getting kids to easily make a tune. Cheap and cheerful, the kazoo goes well with the ukulele. Made with the Hummbucker pickup!
This is the Hummbucker Electric Kazoo made by Kazoobie, I play it through a multi fx pedal and a few seperate pedals.

"They can be overused..." Rachel, that's my favorite understatement of the year! I never would've imagined liking this as much as I did. I started watching with trepidation, and my courage was rewarded with a smile a second! 😄Thank you!
So glad I'm still educating and entertaining you Jules. Can you tell I had some fun ;-)
I wish I had you for a teacher when I was a kid.
Thanks Linda, although after all the shouting I've had to do today............... ;-)
You never cease to amaze me!!
Thanks Mum! LOL
This was exactly the demo I was looking for thanks!! I just bought one!
Great to hear! Enjoy, they are fun.
OMG! Who knew there was an electric kazoo? Thank you, Rachel, for an extremely entertaining demo! I had almost as much fun as you did! 🤣🤣🤣
Glad you enjoyed Julie, as you could see, it was fun to play with! 😂
This is awesome! 👂👀👂
Totally agree! I don't think there are that many fans of the electric kazoo but I think we are a special breed! LOL
Yes yes, I am planning on getting one of this, and the first I am going to play is pink panther!! Thank you for playing it
Hope you enjoy it! and I'm sure Pink Panther is going to be awesome!
OMG! This just makes me laugh! I love a little kazoo! I keep several around and give them as gifts too! This is so stinking funny!
Had to get one as soon as I realized they existed because they are such a crazy sound!
Omg I love it
I agree, what is not to love! LOL
I have no words! 😂🤣😂 Rachel, you are a ⭐ lololol! X
I know you are DESPERATE for me to bring it to KHU Jude! LOL
@@UkuleleWales 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Saxophone for the poor!
I _love_ it!
Absolutely loved your comment - saxaphone for the poor!! awesome.
Cracking stuff. I've done something similar myself. Must do it again.
You should! Great fun for sure!! 😊
@@UkuleleWales You're absolutely right. I've glued a contact mic to a Meeland kazoo and it's ready for action. 🙂
I think this could be a game changer. It's hard to make a kazoo sound good, but with the right effects and good technique, I think it can sound great alongside another instrument like guitar, ukulele, or keyboard. I'm planning on getting an electric kazoo and plugging it into my amp, which has a ton of built in effects to choose from. The only other thing, I need is some kind of foot percussion, like a stomp box, foot tambourine, or one of those complete foot drum kits like the Farmer Foot Drum or Floor Drum and I can be a one man band.
I am liking the thinking behind this, elec kazoo & effects = AWESOME.
I often use a foot tambourine and a stomp box, both great too. Let me know how you get on.
I've always loved the kazoo and have become extremely, annoyingly, proficient at it and have so many tunes I can play.
I've yet to buy the electric one, but it's on the list of 'want to buy'
I have a kaoss pad 2 live effects machine which I think would really suit this. I'm wanting to make trippy psychedelic dance music with it 😊
With this video and the one with the guy who puts it through a variety of guitar pedals, I think it's more a possibility than not.
Cheers 🥂
Excellent to hear. There does now seem to be a newer type of elecric kazoo, here is a link. amzn.to/3pxHHZ3
I envy you have a huge Sound level DB meter, respect SUBBED
Thanks, really should get it set up again as it does make for interesting viewing.
I actually am considering this to get to simulate playing an electric guitar sounding solo while I play rhythm guitar. How close do you think you could get this to sound like a whiny Fender Strat or a Les Paul with the right effects and adjustments?
If I'm honest, I think it will always sound like a kazoo but worth trying with different effects to see.
I have the most important question. Where did you get that fantastic t shirt from? Orange happens to be my favourite colour.
It's great isn't it. Here is a link, not one of my designs but I think it's one of my favs. Lots of colours available.

@@UkuleleWales Yes its very funny! Have to ask that for my birthday I think xD
@@UkuleleWales Its brilliant but a bit pricy for me, I personally find it so mindboggling that t shirts cost more than jeans xD

Hi Lewis, see you in school, Thanks for watching
Hi miss
Hi Lewis.
Now all u have to do is make a vape pen version of it.
Actually............... it is a thought though! LOL
This just convinced me not to run a kazoo through my pedalboard
🤨 Only joking, although I really should do a few more kazoo vids as there have been some improvements on the “standard” design. 👍
