In this video, I try out the new ZWO AM5 mount for some deep-sky astrophotography in the backyard. I was able to collect over 10 hours of exposure time (over multiple nights) on the Elephant's Trunk Nebula in the constellation Cepheus!

Did anyone else audibly laugh when he described the garage as a "total disaster" and then showed that it's 95% empty? My man, you have no idea what a disaster garage looks like.

I’m 17 years old and I’m soon starting my second year in high school and I want to become an astronomer and seeing your videos just makes me want that dream even more. I dream of sitting in my backyard, looking up in the night sky and having an awesome telescope setup to take pictures of the world beyond earth. I may also want to work in an observatory and discover new things. The universe and the endless thought of what is and what might be out there thrills me everyday and I look forward to discovering new stuff and to make a change in science as a whole. Your videos are amazing and I really appreciate your work! ❤️
