All of the races from DK 64 from the Wii U virtual console version of the game. Just like the bosses, the improved frame rate makes the races far tougher especially the second rabbit race in Fungi Forest.

That damn beetle....hitting him in the beginning was so satisfying. Also gave me anxiety when see him on my screen hollow or just I hear him getting close while I am turning.

It's a shame we never see Chunky and Diddy race in either world and DK only had one race while Lanky and Tiny both got three races.
Yeah but Chunky would've been difficult to do a race being how slow he is and while the game calls it a race with the owl in Fungi Forest with Diddy, I don't see it as a race.

Just glad I 101% the whole game now. The rabbits second race was a complete piss off.

Nintendo games back then use to take things to a whole different level. I’m only 1:30 in and my anxiety just watching Tiny Kong 🥴 on the slide…..geez!!

Donkey Diddy and Chunky get a bonus stage of Minecart Mayham and Busy Barrel Barrage.
Late but they are also the only two who get to race the beetle

My left thumb got sore just by watching this!
For anyone having trouble in the virtual console version of the rabbit 2nd race when the text at the beginning of the race starts don’t skip it wait until the text reads “trophy” then press B if done correctly you should get control of Lanky and he’ll get a headstart when the countdown begins giving you the chance to jump in the barrel, leaving that rabbit in the dust

Whoever designed the beetle races can get their arms broken for all I care.

The rabbit race for me was more difficult.
Anyone who took part in designing any racing level in an N64 game deserves to have their favorite childhood toy used as a fleshlight.

It's always like this:
Race this character and get a certain amount of coins, usually 10 or 50.
It's sickening that to this day (may 10th Wednesday 10:16 am 2023) no justice has been done.
All this time, so many restless nights later.

I swear that Frantic Factory race wins itself, the Car's AI has no regard for the TNT Barrel whatsoever, and the miniscule coin requirement compared to other races is laughable.
Rabbit’s second race is by far the hardest and most annoying one.
It's damn near IMPOSSIBLE in the Wii U version since all the lag is removed, but the character speed isn't adjusted to compensate.

Car race #1 is literally the only actual fun and fair race in the whole game. All the others can go to hell.
That second race with the beetle as lanky took until 5:00 AM at one point in time that was garbage

im currently on the race with tiny in the small car racing the formula car. i can say its annoying but i only tried it once, i need to get some sleep i can do it tomorrow.

Trust me, if you do have the chance to play this game, you'll see how terrible the race is. Whatever one pisses you off the most. For me, well my comment is here somewhere on this video's comment section
