Know what triggers you. It's different for everyone. For me, I don't do Facebook. Watching other people's kids, grandkids, marriages, relationships, vacations...just life-ing makes me feel so lonely. 20 min on Facebook can have me in tears for hours. but it doesn't make me wanna call Jamarcus at midnight. But it invites a different spiritual struggle. For me right now, it's not a struggle with lust, but a lack of connection. I believe that what alot of people are seeking is a feeling of being cared for, a sense that they matter, and are not alone, even for the moment, and they meet they need with inappropriate sex. This can also be a lure for married people that still feel lonely and disconnected. Ask the Holy Spirit what you personally need to avoid. Pay attention to how you respond or react to different situations. Violent movies and horror movies mess with my spirit. Even Tik Tok dance challenges are often not as innocent as they appear. Some things are obvious. Watching naked people doing naked stuff - you don't need the Holy Spirit to tell you not to do that. But you may need the Holy Spirit to help you stop. That's with anything.
ALL of these things he described IS SIN FOR THE MARRIED AND THE SINGLE CHRISTIANS! Sinners don't sing love song, they sing LUST SONGS! And that's the same with reading LUST etc that he described
Sounds like he's been saved all his life. Love songs that are clean aren't lustful and encourage love between man and women. Remember Jesus first miracle was at a wedding. Pretty sure there were love songs sung. This message pushes sinners young and old from the church . If the church doesn't accurately describe what being a single Christian looks like who will ? As long as the songs don't encourage fornication lust and anything else ungodly what's the problem ? Ribbon in the sky ain't sending people to hell is it ? He better be walking on water or padlock all his closets because he's starting ro judge people.
No one should be listening to music that promotes anti-biblical principles, including sex outside of marriage, homosexuality, etc. I love true love songs, but even in my youth i didn't like sex-you-up music. Songs promoting lifelong love don't bother me, since I'd like to have that some day. Real romance in movies either. However, married people also need to keep their eyes and ears guarded so they dont bring ungodly spirits, practices, and expectations into their marital sex lives. For example, pray about that stripper pole in the bedroom. I feel like its a modern day Asherah pole. And sex with your spouse should be fun, but strippers are often some of the saddest, most broken people I've known. Do you want to invite that spirit? And watching p0rn is a set up to be dissatisfied with the actual person you're spending your life with vs the virtual image and fantasy. Satan is busy. Coming for all of us. ❤

When i was unsave and even after backsliding too many times to remember. I was into (or bound by) a lot of things. Since being delivered from so many traps, snares, traps, etc, i find it does not edificational for my spirit to hear music that was the background to my life of uncleanness and disingenuous living. Deliverance in victory through the precious blood of Jesus Christ is real. So, although "...it's just a movie or just music...", the spirit associated with my music or movie is not of God. Soooo, for me and my house, ill be uncool guard my heart, mind, and soul from those thing that can so easily ensnare.
Well if you really have the Holy Ghost you would stay away from these things for Holy Ghost is what keeps you,didn’t say it would send you to hell but it leaves a thought who are you really serving because if it’s worldly 🎶 singing you like what chance do the spirit of God have:🙏we can’t have it both ways be blessed 😇
As a single Christian Woman who LOVES singing and r&b i reverence God and honor the convictions the He placed on me. I can not and will not listen to these songs nor will I watch movies with cursing and sexual scenes no comedy this is all because of my convictions. I will not judge you on yours but I will gladly share why I will not partake in these things
I avoid listening to love songs since my divorce 25 years ago. I listen to classical music instead and I have no interest in remarrying. I rather get a passport if I want to marry. After being misused by modern women, I refuse to do a simp. MGTOW
Churches should do more to encourage and promote marriage. This would solve many problems.
