Wow, so much fruit! I have a Sapodilla here in L.A. that is about 50% bigger than yours and it has never fruited! It flowers multiple times a year but they always die and fall off. I'm starting to think our lack of humidity is the problem. Any suggestions?
Some of these varieties need to grow to small tree size to start holding fruit. I have one in a humid climate that produces a large fruit but the flowers drop off, it needs to get to at least 5 or 6 ft probably to start producing anything
Amazing video Brah!!
Can you do an update in regards to your Campbell White Sapote??? How is it doing?? How big has it grown??
So far it's still a little twig but I'll definitely keep updating! Also it's a younghans gold, not campbell.
@ oh ok I have an air layered Younghans Gold. It’s about 4.5 feet now.
@marcuswelby921 nice, got any fruit?
@@BensExoticFloridabought it airlayered with “2” fruit on it which dropped off.

Yeah sapodillas are a tree adapted to the jungles of central America. Probably can't thrive in the dry LA climate.
