So looking at the settings (and curious as you don't have your paddles remapped to anything in GameSir app). Is your config this?
- Right D-pad mapped to L4 paddle (GameSir app)
- Edit Building mapped to Right D-pad (Fortnite controller settings)
In my testing, Fortnite Controller settings don't recognize L4 and R4 as buttons. Hence having to remap them to the standard face or trigger buttons.

you go to configure on profiles then go down to the L4 abd R4 and a menu with all the buttons on the controller pops up and you choose which one

It’s because you have your polling set to 1000HZ, but 250hz and 500hz modes will allow you to use your headset again…you have to use a pc to adjust the polling but I use 500hz because it’s the highest allowable polling count while still allowing use of headset and mic…also Xbox already stated they’re own polling is capped at 120hz-250hz max so anything over 250hz is pointless, using the 500hz will just push you from 200hz up to the max of 250hz…hope this helps! 😊

Based on his Fortnite settings I think he's got it set to the following:
- L4 paddle mapped to D-pad Right (In GameSir app. although the video didn't show any mappings)
- Edit Building is mapped to D-pad Right (in Fortnite controller settings)
So this lines up with him saying he had editing mapped to his left paddle in the video. And it makes sense because he plays claw. The D-pad Right isn't likely something he uses at all. So he loses nothing to bind it to the L4 paddle and map Edit Building to it.

You can also bind with a button: hold down the (M) button and the back button you want to bind until it starts blinking then press the button you want to bind to the back button. Then you’re all set
