    Thanks for the video. Looks much better without the plastic cover, I’m going to do the same. Was worried about heat warping the hood or causing paint damage but it looks like it’s well insulated.

      Yessir, the hood will be just fine. Thanks for watching!

    Way better without cover! Engine bay looks sick and your car sounds amazing!

    I always use the scrub method with the extraction hose as you get far more out. I no longer use the vacuum method extractors, but the $15 electric motor gadgets. Thanks.......

    The hot V with those snails in the middle looks so much better without the covers. Any heat risk to the hood? Seems like some nice turbo blankets and something for the downpipes would finish off the bay nicely.

      @@anthonytrentacosti9936 I’ve taken the car to the canyons and pushed it for a good duration. After inspecting the hood closely there were no signs of heat damage on the underside nor the top. Also used the Dynamic + app to monitor the IAT on the drive, and it was on par with what I was used to seeing. The heat shield built into the hood itself seems to do a good enough job, and I feel like the metal shield under the plastic cover is only there to keep it from melting. I agree it looks much better without. good call on the blankets, I’ve been eyeballing some from Forge, may pull the trigger on those soon. As for the downpipes, I was thinking some gold heat wrap could be a nice touch, and help keep things cooler in the bay.

    you got 7.6 liter in your pump? or less? because usually remaining in my oil sump 300-500 mililiters

      The pump was filled to the absolute top. It was my first time changing the oil since I purchased the car, so it's possible the previous owner underfilled it a tad.

    Hello legend! Thanks for another great video. I have subscribed 😊. Have you installed the hpfp yet? Did you feel any difference?

      @@michaelrodwaan5819 Thanks for watching and for the sub, I appreciate you! I installed the HPFP, and the difference on the stg 1+ tune is noticeable. I’ll put the video for that out soon, I’ve just been extra busy and haven’t had time to edit the video yet, but it will be coming 👍🏻

    what temperature was the oil? One thing to note is that the max temp for the mityvac hose is 178F so when changing oil make sure its not above that or the plastic could melt inside

      @SpeedcraftGarage  4 месяца назад +1

      @@chelo3510 Great call out! The car was 150 degrees when I parked it and let it sit for about 20 mins so everything would drain into the oil pan, so I would guess it was around 120-130 when I drained it.

    • @SpeedcraftGarage
      @SpeedcraftGarage  4 месяца назад

      It is a Mityvac 7201. I put links to everything in the description if you need them, but here is a link to the siphon itself amzn.to/4fdaaIy
