It's beautifully played, with great skill, but - that first movement ... phew!
Maybe ask the recording engineers....sounds odd to me.....too all mixed up together so loses distinctness/fire ...playing great....what think you.....+ hall acoustics?

@@QHarefield Baroque music now this days is being played SO FAST! It sounds at times unnatural.
Believe it or not there is another recording on You Tube that goes twice as fast. I agree. What's the rush?

Age 63.5, just beginning my interest_early music. May choose tenor recorder. The (0:00-8:00) ____has made a distinct and negative impression in my mind. "IF", my only exposure to; music, J. S. Bach, flute were to these moments, I'd never return. Expect ⁽no⁾ replies! SS✝_11/09/2022@0723.
