Mine just arrived with i5-1135G7, 20 GB DDR4, 1 TB PCLe SSD. Noticed a little warm at the fan exaust. No back lit key bed on mine which is OK, the dark buttons are good even at night with display reflection. A little heavier than our HP Envy 13 inch laptop. My 3rd Acer. Nice review, thank you,
I used this laptop and it's battery drains really quickly even with battery saver
Is there something wrong with it because I feel like it lasts around 6 hours when mine said it would last 10 hours and it's 6 hours with battery saver

hi, it can run most games, but in some more demanding like pubg, fortnite, gtav, u will need to lower some settings to medium low, elder scroll will run fine on medium high

i am have one, and after 3 hours the screen turn black and i cannot see something
i notice there is a little dark side on the F9 key, i mean the light does not reach the all side of F9 key, is that true ? and i have a really bad heat temperature while using it, can you give some tips to fix this?
there are many cooling solutions from elevating laptop, increase fan speed threshold with app or in the bios, disable some unused apps in the backgrounds. i think these days manufacturers trying to much to be laptops noiseless. so increasing the fan speed is the simplest solution.

If somebody has some data on how heated the CPU gets during gaming, I'd love to see it.
The 14" version doesn't have high heat issues but the cooler inside is damn loud.

What do you mean by heavy gaming?Im looking into getting a cheap gaming laptop(the highest I can go is probably £600 but I’m torn between the Ryzen version for £550 with 1TB or the intel 5 for £400 with 512GB .Is this laptop going to be able to support steam games and things like Cyberpunk 2077 and things like Minecraft or other games and is it worth the money???in short, My main question is if I get this laptop,Which version will be better for each price and will it be able to support heavy duty games? Also will my PlayStation Wireless controller be able to connect to the laptop via Bluetooth and can I connect the laptop to a TV ?
I also will need money to buy some games on steam and minecraft and such.I’m leaning towards the Intel right now as that gives me an extra £200 (Irs birthday money and I did want some money to spend on other things like the cinema and stuff.
get a version with geforce mx or geforce gtx for cyberpunk, minecraft will work smoothly with low medium graphics settings, sony controller will connect fine via bluetooth.

yes its much more compact than regular 15.6 and it has good keyboard.

yes it will last much longer, if you have it in clean environment or if you clean fans from dust regularly.

yes its solid, but i wouldn't put often excessive force on lid, there is still a lot of plastic around hinges ;)

yes it possible to edit with it, of course if you like to use adobe apps and 4k / special effects a lot, go with i5 version, it will process and preview project faster

For now everything okay, It has ighter lid so its harder to wear hinge, but u still need to be "gentle" if you want to prolong hinge life anyway...

it will run smootly fifa 21 on medium high settings and it has enough memory and processing speed for office apps for at least 5 to 10 years.

mi pro has sharper screen with more colors, acer on other hand has good touchpad, keyboard, ram drive upgradability. quality wise they look similar, so price will decide at the end.

clean the vents, install app for fan speed control, check out bios fan settings and change temperature levels

yes its weird but its normal and it looks like many laptops follows that dark spacebar trend

Charge in 2hours and be sure it was in shutdown mode
Batteries have this intricate sensor that determines the percentage of battery. So what you can do is completely empty the battery, plug it in, leave it for a while (like 10-15hrs just to be safe) so that it for sure reaches 100%. This will setup the sesnsor correctly.

yes its full hd 1920 x 1080 its sharp enough for work, watching videos or playing games.

Hi I need help,your laptop battery last 8 hours? Mine only last 2-4 hours with battery saver and lowest brightness I use it very minimal to conserve battery and i'm just browsing with that😭Should I ask for a replacement?I bought it recently July 13😭😭
try to reset it to factory settings first, but it is also possible that some part of windows update is stuck somewhere and that could also caused battery drain...

disconnect power cable , switch it off wait for 1 hour, then connect it again, if that doesn't work activate factory reset,

If you are going to buy an aspire 5 ..do check that if it has an IPS display (and also if it has a hdd Or SSD)!. The price varies due to these factors

In my country there's only one variant with i5 11thgen mx350 graphics 16g ram (but idk if it's dual channel or not) with 1T hdd and 256g ssd . Also 15.6 inch ips display (51% sRGB)

I have this laptop but the i7 and 11th Gen version. But the problem is it is not charging. Sometimes it says fully charge but when i remove the chrger my laptop just turned off. Is there anything to do to fix this?
turn off laptop / no sleep mode, reconnect power cable and leave it connected overnight, next day before you turn it on, disconnect power cable and than press power button.

heating issue ?
It has average cooler and fan, but i didnt notice any heating on keyboard, unless i played heavy games on it. It shouldn't be a problem, but it also depends on room temperature...

Fanlar ve etrafı toz kaplamış ve hiç bakıma gönderilmediği için bu tozlardan dolayı fan değişmesi gerekiyormuş. 2.500 TL onarım ücreti istediler. Hani bu ürün garantili idi. Artık Acer firması gözümden düştü. 2 ayda bir 30 ar kişeye halk eğitimde bilgisayar kursu veriyorum, 650 kişilik bir okulda bilgisayar öğretmeniyim. Her yıl 100 150 arası kişi laptop soruyor. Çoğunluğuna aceri öneriyordum ama artık önermem. Sizde alacak iseniz bu durumu göz önünde bulundurun.

Is it capable for video editing?
well it can handle basic 4k video editing, though if you work a lot with effects, go with i7 version
i got mine last week with 20GB RAM and intel i5! I play games like stardew valley, little nightmares, binding of isaac, sims 4 and it runs so well! I get an average of 5-6 hours when playing and more when I just use it for browsing, movies and school stuff

Originally this one is only 4GB i think? but I upgraded it into 20GB ram. for the storage, I think there's an extra slot for HDD. if you're from the Philippines, I highly recommend buying from PC Central (not sponsored) because you can upgrade the ram without voiding the warranty

@@MJtheLumiphony it will run popular online games like fortnite and similiar. its processor is powerful for 2k and even 4k videos, though if you want to use special effects or want to play games on the highest settings its still best to go with geforce mx version
