Shawn Skinner 21 minutes ago (edited) The "Software Test" (button #2 in the sequence) is actually a full diagnostic test that goes through all the actual functions as they are used while washing clothes. It will start with C00, C01, C02, C03, etc as it moves through the test. If it finds a problem, it will stop the progress through the test. After about 10 minutes or so, the Door Lock will release. If you have a Motor Control Board problem, you will notice that the drum does not move during this test. F06 - E01/E02 - Indicates a Communication error between the Motor Control Board and the Central Control Board. In my case it was the MCB, which the technician said Fails In Every Machine that uses it, and fails in the exact 2 locations on the Board as shown by the burn marks on the bottom.
So the button #2 is the spin speed button? That button will do the complete diagnostic? We replaced the MCB on my sons already so i guess it might be my turn. Thank you for the video.
How did you remove motor control board? I can't seem to figure out where it's located. I'm getting F06/E01 error as well. Quick diagnostic sequence doesn't go past C00. I was able to go through C00 C01 and C02 once and then stuck on C03. I checked CCU . Nothing obvious looks damaged on CCU.
Hi Joe. Thank for the video look easy to do even I don’t have any experience. I have a question… I have the error F06 and e01. If I perform this steeps it will fix the washer or do I need to buy and change the electronic boards, I searched and it looks like the MCU and CCU electronics boards problem. I would like to talk with you and get some advise where I can get them (if need to be replaced) and how to do it. Thank you in advance.
did you ever find the issue with this. i am getting the same code. have changed the motor control board waiting for the other controller on the top to arrive.
Great video Joey!! just one question. How do you clear the error codes Once you have fixed what’s causing the errors? I had an F3 E1 error code and I replaced the water level switch as recommended.
Hi! Enter service diagnostic mode then press and hold the 3rd button used to enter into the service diagnostic mode for 5 seconds. Once erased, "888" will appear on the timer display. It will clear the codes. Then exist service diagnostic mode by holding down the 1st button used to enter the service diagnostic mode for 5 seconds.

I have A Whirlpool Duet Steam . I am getting code EO1 and FO9. I reset the codes and tried to run again and they came up again . Any clue what is going on ?
I have a Whirlpool LoadnGo WFW92HEFWO. It works fine for about three loads then gives the error code F03 F08, if I clear the codes from the machine it starts working again for another 3-4 loads. From what I have found the codes relate to the soap dispenser issue (which had a black substance on the inner roof, all cleaned now), I can tell when the machine is going to fail because I hear no water running into the machine at the start of load, then it flashes the error codes. I have taken the top off and verified that the linkage that goes to the soap dispenser is hooked up and rotates, also, that the water line from the back is clear. If it were a mechanical issue I would think it would fault and never work again, because I can reset the machine and it works fine for several loads I am thinking it is something else like the control board?
Mark. Not sure if it will help with your washer...but...when my samsung front loader failed...the fix was to buy the new board for 500.00. I ended up fixing it by unpluging all the circuits to the board and plugging them back in. That cured it. As simple as that sounds and was. Hope you figure it out. Have a great evening.

@@jneusbaum3697 Thanks so much J, I found an appliance forum and posted the same question, one man came back to me an suggested that one of the solenoids were getting hot and failing (sticking) after the third cycle, I purchased an new valve (with solenoids) for $39 dollars on Amazon, I have to break the machine down to install it, while I am in there I will unplug the board like you said.

A communication error between the CCU and onboard EEPROM has occurred, or one of the main relays is not working properly. Possible causes: - Check the electrical outlet for damage - A power surge/drop may have caused this problem. Unplug or disconnect the washer. Verify power outlet (voltage, polarity, grounding, and dedication circuit). Reconnect power and retest. - A relay on the CCU may be welded. - Perform TEST #1 (CCU/Power Check)

Yes. There is not software mode, it moves through various cycles like below, assuming, of course, it does. Mine just stays a C00
