first, thank you it makes the moog from something annoyingly difficult to work with to something more lake a fun to work with Im tryng to make it as some part of a bigger thing on CUBASE the main clock is an issue here and I don't know how to clock it into the beat I'm working on or to make it as the main clock I know there is a way through the accent I didn't figure it out yet I remenber you mentioned it on one of the previous videos
Hi. These three modules work well together, although the M32 is only monophonic. But nowhere did I get a specific answer, is this a set to create every genre of electronic music? Is it more of an educational and experimental tool? How to think about it before buying?
There are lots of uses for monophonic Synths. I think it's a good tool but it really depends on what you want to use the tool for. I think it's more than just an educational tool though. But if you need a polyphonic synth, obviously you should look elsewhere. Does that make sense. I don't think there's an easy answer, but these are bonafide Synths...
Two questions, would you get one piece of the Sound Studio at a time or save for the whole shebang? Which (if any) are capable of doing drone type sounds? Subharmonicon? Thanks!
That's a tough one... They definitely function better as a unit. I had the Mother+DFAM first and then added the Sub and it all came together. The only issue with purchasing separately is that it will cost you a little more in the end. In addition to the price of the Synths - you'll also have to get the 3-tier rack. The Trio also comes with a little mixer (which is not good for mixing, but does allow you to use one power supply for all three). So I guess it depends how long you'll have to wait. If you think you'll be able to get all three in a month or so - I'd just hold off. If you want to spread it over the next year or so - get one now! Keep in mind that Black Friday deals are coming. There are also tons of these used now - so I'd keep my eye out for deals! For your second question - I did a little series on droning with these. I actually found that the DFAM was my favorite. I put out 6 videos - 3 "performance" videos and then 3 corresponding "explaination" videos. You can search for "La Mont Young" in my videos. Here's a link to the DFAM one. ruclips.net/video/k2ELqeV7Rbc/видео.html Hope this helps!!!
Ha! I have a long way to go before I reach Loopop status! Really appreciate the support. Thanks for tuning in. Makes it all worthwhile when I get comments like this. :)

I would have Cubase be the main clock and use the Midi port to sync it.

Epitome of SS3! This is each member doing exactly what it should.
I’m just wondering where can you take it from here? What’s left? 😂
Time to return your seat and tray table to it's upright position! :P I'm putting episode 4 out this week! (Hopefully)
