heyyyy lovelies, in this video I am testing out this MULTI - LAYER Microwave Flower Press that was sent to me by Resiners. Resiners are the company behind the Bubblesless Vacuum chamber for removing bubbles from your resin and silicone.
This Flower press can take up to 4 layers of flowers at once. Please note this when comparing prices. I am using the flower press to dry one layer in todays video. I have always dried my flowers using much more lengthy techniques. Silica Gel and pressing between book pages or books can take days if not a few weeks. This machine take minutes. Literally minutes. I cannot believe I can cut fresh flowers and within an hour be placing them in Resin. If you ever wanted to know how to dry your flowers for Resin then I would fully recommend this Flower press. This video is sponsored yes. However, please know that I would not show a product I did not fully love and believe in.
You do not need this flower press just for Resin .. this perfect for drying your flowers for Pot Pouri or Confetti or even home decor purposes. It is an all round successful and super speedy way to dry your flowers.

I bought one of these last summer and dried every flower I could get my hands on. I'm a master gardener so there were a ton of flowers. When drying a lot of flowers be cautious when drying very moist flowers as they will start out very wet and you can go too fast and furious, which will make them boil from the inside out. Also, it's better to do several shorter microwaving blasts and rotating the wool pads a couple of times too keep them from burning. The biggest thing I learned was if you do several flowers without a break, you will start burning them. Take a break, let the microwave cool down, and don't push it. Most of my standard flowers only go in for 35 sec/25 sec/15 sec/ and maybe another 15 sec and they are dry.

Oh I do this on the cheap side 😂 I put the flowers in white paper then cover that with paper towels put it in the microwave and put two bricks on top. First round 50% for 1 minute let sit for five minutes then 30% for 30 seconds over and over until flower is completely dried. I flip them after each round. Perfect flowers perfect color every time ❤

The water will turn into steam in the microwave. The steam is what drys out the flowers. I have seen one other crafter use this product. However you did a much better job of explaining it. Showing the actual instructions to us was so helpful for me. I finally felt comfortable enough to place an order for this product.

If you think about how a mircowave works compared to a press it kinda makes sense. Mircowaves boil water inside the object being mircowaved. So basically boiling out the water in the flowers quickly snd you wet it before you put it in so it doesnt burn. Pressing slowly squeezes the water out. So just by process of time the flower has time to die/change color before its perserved compared to this instantly removing the water and putting slight pressure on it to flatten it as the water leaves. I dont think this forces them to become flat i think its as the water leave the pressure is just enough to squish it. Where just time alone wouldnt squish them in that device.
Definitely interested as ive tried to press flowes before and was disappointed in them losing their color and shape so much.

My daughter and I just got a different brand of press last week. She is a FLOWER MUM extreme. We followed the instructions and had pressed, dried flowers in minutes! We are looking forward to trying her roses soon. Her Japanese maple tree leaves came out perfectly with as much colour as they went in with. I got my press from Amazon. Thanks Claire for your example.

I loved that thing so much and pressed every single flower leaf and weed I could find! lol Geez they have come a long way since the flower press I had that was done between to plates with some screws and having to wait a week for them to dry! lol. Love this!

All those leaves...❤😂
