  • Let's learn Major triads on 432 strings set. It's so useful! 1425 Chord Progressions that Keith Richards (Keef) knows these triads so well! Hope you enjoy this lesson. Please let me know your thoughts & any future requests.

Those second to first inversion I to IV triads are the bedrock of so much rock and roll. I hear a lot of Queen's sounds in those chords, especially when 3rd is in the bass on the IV chord. Songs like Hammer to Fall and Under Pressure, so much fun.
The thing that is hard for me when I listen to records is the IV sounds a lot like the minor II (so many shared notes). And there are so many great songs with minor II, so you need more chords and bass notes to hear better. Same with the second inversion I chord. Sounds like minor 7th sometimes, too.
And even more complicated with open strings and sus chords like in Purple Rain. So many good sounds to explore with 12456 chords and it all starts with triads!

    2、3、4弦だけを使ってロックを演奏するのは面白いと思います。最近、Keith Richardsとは逆に1弦から5弦まで外して、6弦だけで演奏しようかと考えたんですけど、実行はしませんでした。

Non Diatonic. You stayed in diatonic (normal theory) but theory can follow good music. Music first then apply THEORY to good music.
