Nice video. You are very humble and honest about yourselves. Rome looks lovely. My wife and I were there three years ago. I recognise most of the places you were. Ironically we seemed to come across the very same places. We too were pleasantly surprised with the beauty of Rome and it more than exceeded our expectations.

I don't know much about history either. I just like wandering around somewhere like this and taking in the general ambience. Places you're "Supposed" to see are invariably identified by a crowd.
The flickering was the 50 cycle with led lighting.

There are wonders upon wonders. Just to be able to touch the walls of the collossium..to meditate in the temple of Venus or Jupiter ... would be unbelievable. The world of the Gods... people worshipped these Gods for centuries - the golden classical world influenced the greatest of what we have in the world today, right to the end of the victorian era ...classical music opera, sculpture, art etc But what can you absorb in 24 hrs. Still you-all are fortunate being there
We absolutely agree, 24 hours is not enough to soak in everything the city has to offer. But as you say we feel very lucky for any time we have had here. Thanks for your comment 😁
That's how we travel too. Know nearly nothing about anything - just google it as we walk by. You're not alone. My largest CON to travel is easily any peddlers. I cannot stand having people beg me to buy stuff. I avoid area's where that is likely to take place.
Why didn’t you go in to the Coloseum. It was very interesting when we saw it.
Unfortunately just a very big queue and lack of time! Hopefully we'll catch it on another trip :)
Why didn’t you identify the fountain? I is a major site.
We did, we had pop ups on the screen saying Trevi Fountain when we saw it, and also spoke about it at the end of the video :)
