Hi Guys, I'm really glad that you're enjoying life in your van. That was another classic Brynn tech video - superb. I still miss you on your boat but it's great to follow your land lubber journey. Thank you for taking the time to bring us along, take care. T
Hey, thank you for tuning in. Glad you enjoyed it 😁. And we do miss our boat too sometimes. This is definitely a faster way of getting around though haha. Thanks for this nice comment 🙏 😁
Kind of lost you guys. Really enjoyed your sailing videos. Even followed your camper van videos till they stopped. What has happened? Just wanted to say we miss you & hope you might ne able to return. 💖
As an electrician and camper owner that was explained perfectly. Although personally I would have gone for the diesel heater but fed from the main tank.
We thoroughly enjoyed this episode, we are currently reworking our bus electrical system n Oz, and this gave us some deeper insight. We would like to be able to run our Dometic Ibis 4 air conditioner during the Australian summer. We were particularly interested in which piece of equipment provides the mobile phone app?
The information you getting direct on your phone was that coming direct from in the battery or did you have another Wi-Fi monitoring system? thanks for sharing with us. Love the job you have done for the last 20 years I’ve had two AGM130 amp and I’ve always run them until the inverter squeals, and then I have to switch power off and charge them by driving or solar, but they still work now after 20 years perfect.
Hey, that was on the app that connects directly to the battery 👍. I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😊. Before this, I've always used AGM to be honest and felt they were the best value. Now I can't see myself ever changing from lithium 😅. Brynn
Hey man I'm basically about to do the same setup, did you plug your PVs in series or parallel? Cause on the website it says that the DC-DC can handle up to 25V from the PVs but from a recent Renogy's video on youtube it seems that now can handle up to 50V. How many amps can you push in the battery from the solar with your setup?
There are 2 different manuals I've seen for the Renogy 50A DCDC charger and they mention 3 different voltages for solar input max volts, 15v, 25v and 50v. I have emailed Renogy for clarification as it says 50v max solar voltage on the side of the unit. I'll update when I hear back from renogy.
Found this and your previous video on the install really informative and gave me pointers for the design I am looking at for a system for my van. When you partnered with Fogstar, did they say it was ok to pair up with a 3000w inverter as the battery spec on their website recommends up to 2500? Also, with the 50A DC to DC from Renege, what size is your alternator? I am thinking of 50A or 60A ( Votronic) but had been considering a 2 x Victron 30A . Many thanks for the great videos.
Very Good video great to see you again Missed you loads.been following you since your very First video I hope to see you more often from now.by the way I'm from Nottingham originally but been in Newquay for the past 25 years.I have a colvic watsun motorsailer in the Falmouth area,if you're ever down this way it would be great to see you .regards MAL. Take care. .
Hey Malcolm, thanks for following along 😁. That first video seems so long ago now 😅. Were definitely going to try and upload a bit more regularly going forward 😊. And we love Newquay! And also love Falmouth 😁, infact most of Cornwall haha. Yes that would definitely be cool 😊. And thanks again for commenting
@@ChasingCurrents Bits of your English let you down and it's the listening that is the problem. It'll irritate a lot of potential viewers. It's an easy thing to fix. Take some pride in your language. Grow a little. You're not a chav so why talk like one? But OK farewell.

Miss you guys so much! Please come back!!! ❤

Totally agree, I hope you guys are OK.
