Sorry to hear that. I enjoyed your channel very much. I have a sailboat that I am looking to take to Turkey next year. Thankyou for the time taken posting. I hope to pick up with you on your next boat. Good luck with the camper.
My attraction was people cruising on a boat the same size as mine and same sort of budget. I wish you all the best in your new adventures but as you move on I believe I must as well. Best of wishes, cheers!❤

Both of you have inspired me to follow my dream of learning to sail after a back injury. I have recently began volunteering with a children's sailing charity and am already saving the funds for a Westerly Centaur, which I intend to learn to sail all around the south Devon & Cornwall coast before I plan anything further. Nicely done… there are lots of boats for sale, on the hard, in Mexico (sea of Cortez, etc… and the same for the Pacific (Tahiti) all priced to move for the same reasons you are selling Talisman. You two are still young and can still sail later in life…..Go for it!!!❤️

Good luck with the house. We are doing similarly in the UK. We have just bought a house and have to be settled for a while we do it up/ for the mortgage but I’m hoping this puts us in a better position long term for sailing for a longer time in the future and still having somewhere to call home one day when we come back. Will be fun to see your van adventures and also look forward to see you get sailing again in the future too! Ah hopefully we'll be better at posting soon! Don't want to bore you all with rubbish content :p. Yeah for sure. We've been plotting potential future cruising grounds and getting very excited about the prospect of heading further afield!
I just started watching, discovering your channel. First of it is one of the most lovely and authentic channels I came across. Great job and thank you very much for the content. I have a question, if you don't mind: Do you have a feeling for what the market in the meds is like for boats of your category? Since I own a lovely 28ft boat too, that is quite similar to yours and I still might want to sell, because I am missing the standing height, I am thinking about bringing it to the meds first to have a joyfull time before giving her up. I'm currently in Germany and the market seems to get a bit difficult for selling, though I have no idea, what is like in the meds.
Aw thank you so much for such a lovely comment! really glad you've enjoyed our adventures so far :). I think it's definitely easy enough to sell boats in the Med, especially lately it seems like everyone is selling small boats for quite a lot of money! We had a lot of interest, but took us a while to sell because of the post brexit issues with VAT etc. But we ended up selling to a british guy. If your vessel is EU flagged it should sell relatively easy I would have thought if the market stays the way it is :)
Good question! We actually listed it on free to advertise boat sales pages. Luckily, we found an awesome buyer who is now living aboard full time in Greece .

I'm sure there will be opportunities to buy a house coming in the next year or two, knuckle down and save, the global housing asset bubble has a lot of deflating to do yet assets are being repriced to the new cost of debt now, get yourself normal jobs, to satisfy the bank for a loan, and make sure you do your sums, and buy something that can give you a good passive income for your next adventure !

If the forecast massive financial Crash that the large Organisations like JP Morgan are warning about is bigger than 2008, then imho, just like 2008, we might see a lot of nice boats being given Away for free, as people would rather save the boat than scuttle them (lots were scuttled aftervthev2008 Crash) and people just didn't have the money to keep them, so keep your eyes peeled for a nice boat to save ?
