- Welcome to another video family. Spend the day with me as I clean, run to the market and cook. I give a cost breakdown as to what I spent all day.
Do you think this is reasonable or expensive? Let me hear your thoughts below

Love the market, love the laundry, love the cooking. Ghana is expensive, but if I compare it to pounds, it's okay. However, if I live in Ghana, it's expensive. Good job!
Yes I agree it is expensive but I still enjoy it. Thank you 🙏🏽
@@GabbyMack im moving to Ghana with the mindset that it is much less expensive than the states, is that the wrong mindset?
I love when you post these type of videos. It gives me an idea how and what to budget when I head to Ghana 🇬🇭. That Jollof looks sooo good!!
Awwww thank you 😊
It was so yummy 😋
Really enjoyed watching this.
I like the market where you shop. It's a controlled environment unlike makola or kaneshie market
Definitely that’s why I go there all the time
Where is the market located ?

Hi Gabby, new sub. Very humbled and excited to see how living in Ghana is like as l would one day like to reside in Ghana. i wanted to ask if you are of Ghanaian parents. I'm going to take my time though and watch all of your vlogs. Thank you.
Thanks for subbing! Welcome 🤗
Yes they are but I’m 2nd generation American
I enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing and the food looks delish.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 😊
Thank you as always for sharing...
My pleasure! 💗
More cooking videos please with recipes 😊
You got it! 😊🤔
the food looks good!😍
So good 😋
Gabby, please get some air conditions installed you can take them to your own place when you leave the rented accomodation
Please oo it's money we use to buy. AC money is not in my budget right now
Maybe I’m tripping but that’s veryy reasonable considering you don’t go that often, but also I live in NC so it’s beyond expensive for food lol and I have two kids as well. The struggle is real. I’m visiting Ghana solo on 5/22 celebrating my bday, this has been my dream trip for over 10 years and I’ve randomly found your page and been binge watching. I’m also a hair stylist and a haircare business owner. Would love to connect on social media ❤
Wow sounds amazing. Definitely reach out!!
Hey Gabby,
I would _love_ to see your garden Gabby. You rushed past and I would love to see the pots and palms! You have outdoor seating?
It’s not my garden. It’s for my landlord
I love you soooo much, you are such a beautiful lady. Keep up with the good things you are doing.
Thank you so much!! 🙏🏽
Come back to the states some of us miss your cooking!
Awwwww I will come soon and cook for you 💗💗
Good insight into living and earning/ spending in Ghana. Piece of feedback. The background music, especially the home cooking segment is just too loud. It drowns your narration. The background music should be barely noticeable. Hope this helps. ✌🏿❤️💯
Noted
What's the update on the television, did you get a new one from the shipper.
Unfortunately no ooo. I’m still battling that. Still no TV it’s been over 4months
Get house help or at least even a mobile clothes wash lady who comes by every so often to wash by hand at least some of the more delicate items. Sheets, comforters and towels can go to the laundry.
Thought about it but I do not like people idk in my space.
Lol but as an entrepreneur consider what you could do with the time you would be saving. One of the key parts of entrepreneurship is delegating.
@@yo-a yes but not my personal belongings and space
@GabbyMack just like me. Born and raised in Ghana, abd never had anyone touch my personal stuff, let alone wash them! Eeeeee! The crazy Virgo in me will just not allow me to! Ugh! I remember being young and my mom tried to help me by throwing a couple of my stuff she found, into her wash, I came home abd my clothes were hanging on the line with her stuff, uùuuu I started crying! My own mother! Nope, don't touch my personal stuff!
@@GabbyMack of course not, but common room areas like bathroom, kitchen, living area are low risk.
Accra is expensive you would get the veggies cheaper in Kumasi but how that so and Accra is on the coast.
Yea can’t travel to Kumasi just for veggies lol
@@GabbyMack lol I know that but it seems like it's cheaper to live in Kumasi than in Accra. It seems like the prices are artificially inflated in Accra due to everything being so central there.
Where’s this market place? It’s not crowded at all. This is a good place for diasporans than the super crowded Makola.
This is Adenta Market
you can clean but can you cook?
Did u not see me cook in the video?
@@GabbyMack I just started catching up?
I'm sorry I missed that but your friend did most of the work. I would like to see you spend $100 American dollars
No he didn't, I cooked the rice. In this economy thats a hard pass
How hard is it for an American man to find a woman in Ghana?
Come and find out yourself oo
Adenta mall dierr things are overpriced there.
It’s not really as much. If you go to Madina it’s probably 1-2c less there and too much stress to shop there. I like the comfort of Adenta market. I’ll pay a lil more for the comfort
@GabbyMack How much you pay James mpo? 😜😜😜😜
@@GabbyMackerhh? who told you 😂
@@folktalesfromafricanamyself cuz I have shopped in Madina several times. I’m totally fine with Adenta
