I was just listening to one of my favorite albums on the record player. As we passed ‘Kansas City’ and went into the ’New Lee Highway Blues’ from Bromberg’s Wanted Dead or Alive album (C. 1974), I said to myself, “What in the heck is this talented band doing these days?” Happy to see still playing!!
deep, as deep as when I was 19 in UF, we played this record until we wore it out. Right there with Led Zep, Leon Russel, this guy captivated and relaxed the dorm. 1972
Fantastic. Thanks for posting this. Really beautiful guitars, keyboards, All of It. Fantastic. Lyric is So meaningful, so Fantastic. Who is the violinist, Gorgeous. Outstanding.
WOW. I fell in love with this song WAY back in the 70's.
I had this song on one of his Albums(Demon in Disguise) from the 70's
Me too. I wonder what was happening in Dave's life when he wrote this.
I've always loved this song, but, wow, what a difference fifty years make. ❤
great song and video! Love the two duets between Mark & David and Nate & Suavek. Grammy Award material right here.

All old guys and everyone can play. Look at their faces, they say, "I got this nailed".
One of my all-time favourites. A song I added to my repertoire.
Sweet, 1 of mine, too. I was grateful to see him concert Las Cruces N.M. another time in bar El Paso TX.
Been so long since I've seen Bromberg! Thanks for a great production!
Wonderful music.
saw David as a trio at the The Main Point (Bryn Mawr, PA) back in '72 & the message was as powerful and timely then --as it remains timeless today;
Academy of Music Philadelphia 1975
Excellent version of an old favorite! I hope you all come back to Columbia Missouri someday. We will definitely be there!
what a pretty duet with the guitars. Beautiful.
David,....tanks
Note to self: do not request this song, even if he's one of your favorite messengers.
David Bromberg is impressed with the violinist's gliding. See the big grin at 7:29.
Just love this! ❤
