I started the Lion diet 10 days ago. And I feel great. I was so anxious. Inpatient with my children. Depressed. Fatigued and had a terrible brain frog going on. 10 days on I feel great. Brain fog and energy levels have increased. I am more patient with my children. I just wanted to be the best mum in the world and it's getting me there! Plus I've lost 2 kg of fat already. So excited to see where I am going with this!

I am so glad I gave up coffee 6 months ago. It’s a plant and has plant toxins just like all other plants. So many big influencers give coffee a pass. Coffee is so addictive most people won’t even admit it’s bad for you. I never thought I could give it up, but I did it. I’m so proud of myself and I have never felt better!

I gave up caffeine in December . I went to half caff to decaf and now I’m on day three just water . It’s hitting HARD today . I’m determined to just get this addiction out of my life. It’s the CREAM 100%. I’m tired of having to stop for a decaf before I do anything else . It’s more the addictive tether than the actual decaf . Organic coffee and cream is expensive .
I want my money going on higher quality meat. This summer I want to be able to say I am FREE of the drive through .

    ❤Good morning from Singapore.
    👍It's an awesome live chat.👏
In Singapore, very different from the US, grassfed grass finish ruminant meat is not easily available.
A Lion diet is therefore not feasible but a variety and diversity of meat 🍖🍗🥓 especially raw fish, seafoods and raw exotic meats such as crocodile and frog meat is an ideal diet animal-based.
Cheering for all of you lovely and beautiful ladies ☺️🥰

@@Christinesobsevations So far so good. My wife had to go to 30 carbs or less a day recently due to pre-diabetes so the temptations are no longer in the home which helps. I wonder sometimes if I am eating enough but I feel full and when meat no longer tastes good I stop. My carnivore was still coffee and lots of eggs and cheese so trying to do an elimination just to see what happens.

Wow. Thank you Dr. Wiedeman. I was in tears for the entire video. I started Carnivore New Year’s Day 2022. That was after several months trying keto. Hated keto w. a passion & didn’t lose weight on it bec. I was always hungry, & counting macros was something I wouldn’t do. That was after decades of being focused on whole grains, fish, no sugar, occasional meats, tons of veggies, wine, etc. Carnivore was a revelation for me & it’s now been close to 25 months. First year the weight fell off. Had to get several clothing items “taken in.” I moved to a new state, realized I chose a location I don’t even like, it’s been emotionally challenging, and I put 20 lbs. back on. I’m doing a 4-day water and beef bone broth fast right now because I don’t like being 180 lbs, and want to get back to 140-145, so my goal is to reset. But watching this in the wee hours tonight, I cried bec. I think this is what I need to do. I’ve contemplated it, but didn’t think it was for me. But now I think it is. Sadly I added eggs to my fridge yesterday morning in preparation for breaking my fast. So I think I’ll stock up w. beef and lamb, maybe some venison too, break my fast Fri or Sat, eat the eggs & then segue into Lion immediately. I too got hooked on coffee and heavy cream, and my cheat foods have been hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews, Brazil nuts. And worst of all, some really great cheeses. That is why, no doubt, I regained 20 of the 50-60 pounds I lost so effortlessly at the beginning of my carnivore journey. I feel empowered now and will finish my fast, eat the dozen eggs Saturday thru Monday or Tuesday and then take the plunge into Lion Diet. Unfortunately I’ve got quite a big stash of very high quality butter incl. goat butter, in my fridge, but also recently picked up tallow from the butcher. Thank you & your 3 fabulous women members for this incredible video. I think I found my answer. Much love & gratitude from another New Jersey girl (former, but born and bred there and a grad. of Rutgers).

I really appreciate this video. I've been mostly lion diet for 5 years. Lots of experimenting. But strict lion diet works best. I tried coconut juice last week, and my gingivitis flared up a little bit. I try to listen to my body.
I like the concept you talk about, food sobriety. It makes sense, and I understand what I've experienced better.
Also, last year, I became a Seventh Day Adventist. They have a health message that includes vegetarianism as a good choice. I can't talk to them about it. And when we have fellowship at pot lucks, I usually don't go, or I don't eat, and just say I'm fasting.
The social aspect is tough in this way for me. But I keep my faith, and I stay on track with my diet because I know it is best for me.
God bless you and your group. Thank you for what you do.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences... I was really ready to completely give up after five and a half years struggling to be on the Carnivore lifestyle and continuing to break down to eating some carbs now and then so that I only ever did about 95% Carnivore since I started in October of 2018... I never got any weight loss because of this... Now, with this video, I have a renewed incentive to try again and this time be strict beef and lamb, salt and water. I am determined to give up that coffee and change to limiting the animal products. I have extreme insulin resistance and am a "little person" so I don't know if that has any bearing on it but my body has a "set point" of around 145 pounds. My proper weight would be around 95 pounds for my medium bone structure as I am only 55 inches tall. So... I need to lose 1/3 of my body weight being 95% Carnivore I do not lose any weight and when I have been able to do a month or so on 100% Carnivore I still did not lose any weight at all. It is so disheartening... I don't want to die fat.

I’m 54, divorced mom of 2, not dating, not even working, as my confidence, low energy and depression has really held me back from well everything. I don’t even wanna live and don’t see the point in living, but I also know I can’t just end my life either, as I have kids, so I HAVE to fix myself and medications have not done much and are risky, too risky. Anyways I’m hopeful thanks to this video. I’ve been trying the carnivore diet, but I think there are too many decisions and options on it, and less might be better.

@@carnivoredoctor thank you, so far, unfortunately, I am feeling more drained, more lethargic, more weak than ever, and therefore more unproductive and feeling pretty discouraged, which is not helping the depression. I AM resisting 98% of my traditional junk food and sugar items, breads, desserts, treats, carbs, so I guess that’s something, it’s just that I have yet to feel better without them. In fact I’m feeling worse physically and emotionally. I just keep telling myself to have faith that at some point, my body will adjust . But I have almost thrown in the towel multiple times and don’t know how much longer I can continue being such a low functioning, human being and mother. Basically this is harder than I thought it would be, which would be fine if I was finally feeling more energetic and alive, and awake, and like this was worth it, but I’m still waiting for that to happen, and hanging on by a thread.

I really hope more people talk about the Lion Diet. This is the first time that my weight has gone down so easily while feeling so satisfied. I’m not completely doing the lion diet but that is my goal. I have eaten 2 beef 🥩 only meals & 1 carb meal. When I eat beef or lamb I don’t experience bloating. I have eaten cheese 🧀 but cheese gives me gas & bloating. I did every diet known to man including carnivore & still had trouble losing. The lion diet is what works. Red meat 🥩 is so satisfying & satiating. I feel like I’m starting to come out of my depression over my weight issues, skin, mood & digestive issues. Carnivore may not be for everyone. Some people need to cut down or cut out dairy & pork to be healthy.

You left out a lot of foods on the "NO" list: pork, boar, turkey, duck, chicken....
But yes, the coffee crowd is hard to win over. It's always that 'one thing' you don't want to let go of that tends to be the big factor for not feeling 100%. Great motivation here for a lot of people!

My blood glucose first thing in the morning is as low as 44 and my keytones are only .2 or .3.
I am consuming a couple of pounds of beef a day, tallow and butter and up to a cup of sheep's milk yogurt or an ounce of sheep's milk cheese, along with salt and water. I exercise regularly usually jog 1 to 2 miles daily and lift weights.
    71 year old female, 5'5", 110 lbs.
Not sure if this is optimal or if I should make any changes.
I adopted this way of eating to heal a number of inflammatory conditions including serious gastrointestinal problems all of which have normalized and I feel healthier than I ever have however I wonder how low is too low on the glucose. I do feel tend to feel tired after eating and like to take a 30 minute nap.

Just starting to watch. I absolutely LOVE the lion diet. It has completely kicked ALL cravings to the curb. I am only hungry for one meal a day. I am not sure if it's preventing my weight loss? I have noticed some inches gone, but not in my gut area and the scale not moving much. I think I had more health issues than I thought?? I'll be starting month 7 next month. ETA: I used to eat all day it seemed. Even after a full meal, I''d want sweets and within an hour I felt starving again. Lion diet stopped that in the tracks. I have no interest in carnivore snacks, cheese treats, etc.

After 1.5 years on carnivore, I realize I've been under-eating around 300-500 grams per day. Seems so simple, but important to note. Also not getting enough fat. It's so important. Hi Kim, I am not concerned with getting to 70-80% fat... I am concerned with how I feel and eating in a way that is long term enjoyable and sustainable for me. I do not think ancestrally man was concerned with hitting a 80% fat macro and neither am I. If I needed to be in ketosis for a medical reason, that would be completely different. If you are going by visual fat a ribeye may appear 50/50 but it is much closer to 70/30 because most of the protein or red portion is water in beef so the fat ratio is much higher than what you can see. I would not worry about some "perfect" ratio either.
