    My youngest daughter, age 44, has autism (and lupus, and spina bifida occulta, and celiac disease, and more). Her health and behavior had been deteriorating for several years, to the point that I wasn't sure I was going to be able to keep taking care of her (she's very low-functioning), or that she was even going to live much longer. Almost a year and a half ago, I started her on carnivore. It was difficult at first because she's never liked meat much, but over a few months, she started feeling and behaving better, and became more willing to eat meat. She is as well now as she's ever been, and functioning higher than she ever has in the past. I'm hoping the improvements will continue! We've had to stop eating eggs, after finding out that she's extremely sensitive to them, and that helped a lot, too. We will be staying carnivore, for both of our health.

      @kathleensanderson3082 7 месяцев назад +11

      @@LeapOfFaaaith Wow. I just looked up autistic catatonia, because I hadn't heard those two words together before, and that's where my daughter was before we started carnivore! Hers was partly because she was in pain from a distended bladder (she has neurogenic bladder, from the spina bifida occulta, which we only discovered about four years ago). The egg sensitivity had something to do with it, too, because when we've tried adding eggs back in -- even just the yolks from duck eggs -- she reverted somewhat, though it wasn't as bad as before carnivore. I wish we could tell all of the caregivers of people with autism about the benefits of carnivore!

      @@KmusikOne yeah, it can mess you up if you're not metabolicaly healthy friend. Try cleaning up your diet because that's where your "anxiety" is coming from. I get it, if I drink say, a can of coke, it has the same reaction for me as just drinking milk does for you, my body can't take poison. Good luck with it 👍
      (btw, it's NOT the natural fat from animals that has "given your dog lymphoma" (come along now) that's mitochondrial disfunction owing to you feeding the dog a biologically in-appropriate diet. Your entire cognitive framework will shift the minute you clean it up I promise and your "anxiety" will be completely gone forever. There's honestly no such thing friend we are sooo super robust it's crazy when you stop putting poison in. I'm not being rude, but I'm not going to get into an argument about how giving your dog a glass of milk gave it cancer. All the best 👋)

    Cost and Time Saved: Have been doing carnivore for 8+ weeks now - 70'sM Feeling fine; satiation splendid; no cravings; feeling a bit more limber too!
    Cost: Consider the cost for 'regular diet' food vs carnivore diet: it's really not much different if you plan n' search out buying options - buy bulk, shop sales.
    Time Saved: think about all the time you take walking the aisles of grocery stores searching for 'groceries', compared to going to the meat counter n' buying meat (order meat in quantity n' put in your freezer - even better). How much time is lost planning dinner meals and prepating regular diet meals (baking roasting, casseroles, etc.- more oven time also adds to electric bill). Much simpler n' quicker when on carnivore. Fatty meat is so tasty. Ghee on top of steaks/hamburger is nice. I also do some dairy (lil' bit chees/sour cream) and eggs.
    Bowel movements: use to have 2-3 per day. Now on carnivore, 1 every 2-3 days. Hey, saves on time AND toilet paper cost too!!!!
    Very gratefull to the carnivore channels community and comments/history folks share with one another. Be healthy out there...

    Hi Anthony Chaffee MD: I must be the exception to all the testimonials that I have read and seen about Carnivore Lifestyle. Over the last 120 days since I started carnivore with BBB&E, I have been losing strength and losing energy every day and increasing in dizziness to the point of almost falling over when standing. I don’t like it. I did not start carnivore to lose weight but to gain muscle, but I keep losing muscle and now memory. I am retired 76 year old male, standing 5’10”, weighing 150 lbs now (down from 160) with low blood pressure of 105/60, pulse 74, low fasting blood glucose of 4.9. Every morning I drink my vitamin C powder with water and 10 drops of Aussie minerals. I take vitamins A, B-12, B-complex, C, D3, E, K-2, Omega 3, multi vitamin, magnesium, and one slice of Honeyed Red Korean Ginseng, every day. I have lots of salt on my 4-egg midday meal and lots of salt on my evening meat {eaten with butter). All my blood-work is fine except for TSH, which is elevated to 13.1. I also take Hubner Milk Thistle for liver function, and I also drink water throughout the day. I sleep well with about 8 hours before getting up to pee. I do not drink alcohol, smoke, do drugs, or have any unhealthy habits, and consume almost no carbohydrates (except my ginseng slice). After my morning walk around the block, I work out on my Universal Gym Machine with 10 reps of 14 exercises in the circuit. I saw a video about the importance of fuel for the brain to avoid dementia (because my memory is getting worse every day), and that brain fuel comes from either Keytones or Carbohydrates. If you have any ideas what I am doing wrong, I would appreciate knowing about same. I am almost ready to give up on carnivore because it is making me worse than before I started, and for me it does not seem to work. The only thing that improved since starting Carnivore is my sleep. Everything else is worse and I need your help in pointing out what I have missed. Thank you, BTW, I have NOT been jabbed.

    I'm a 58 y.o. man and I've been doing carnivore for over 5 years. Most days only eat ground beef. I suspect that my stomach doesn't make enough acid to properly digest the meat that I eat. As an example, one night, 5 hours after eating just ground beef, I ended up vomiting from severe colon cramps and what came out was just crumbled ground beef and smelly digestive enzymes/acid. The beef looked the same as it did when I ate it, 5 hours before! I also have a very lazy colon and sometimes don't have a BM for 5 or 6 days. Then sometimes something triggers a major blowout and I fill up the toilet. That process can be so painful that it can make me throw up, which is what happened when I threw up undigested ground beef. I experimented with betaine HCL for a couple of months last year, but didn't really feel any difference.

    I was surprised that when I slow cooked beef shanks with the bone in for nine hours, it gave me adrenaline rushes and anxiety. First time that ever happened, but I don’t usually slow cook. Mostly pressure cook if I’m gonna cook beef heart or bone broth instead of using the air air fryer or the cast-iron skillet. There’s information online about glutamine over exciting brain transmitters in some people and slow cooking can increase the problem. So no more slow cooking meat for me. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I can't afford to get tests and don't trust any Dr. I have ever been to. Seriously, twice once with 'migraine, was told to go home and take a couple of aspirin. Prior to my just over one year Carnivore journey (first 3 months strict Lion) I had many metabolic diseases and obese. One was hypertension. During my early months of recovery I had difficulty at times with low blood pressure - Drs said it was normal. Fatigue continued to be an issue which had been my new normal for years.
      Experimenting with varying salt levels eventually restored my infrequent low blood pressure to normal at all times. Perhaps this could help you too. I know now there really isn’t such a thing as too much salt. Salt has been unfairly demonised.

    Sooooo....... I'm 20 lbs under weight with history of IBS and fibromyalgia, etc. I'm eating mostly bison meat with added ghee now but I have not seen any vids yet for considerations for people like me who are not very well and need desperately to GAIN weight. I'm not gaining anything yet after 2 months of very little carb and mostly carnivore. I have a sensitivity to beef now too and was told by my N.D. to switch to the bison and try to re introduce beef in the future. Do I need SOME carbs along with fatty meat (or bison plus ghee)? ps not sure I can handle any dairy but it seems I can eat ghee. THANK YOU!

      @@nialsawa5257 I'm trying to do this right. Now all of a sudden I have a (very painful) "bug" in my gut, and my naturpath says it's a bad bacteria from eating RAW ground bison. I was cooking it very rare, pretty much raw cuz I don't digest cooked meat easily. I didn't know it was dangerous to eat it raw but now I'm told if it's ground meat you have to cook it well done. This a a bad infection. I can barely eat anything at all now! Not gonna take Rx. antibiotics but taking colloidal silver and ivermectin. ugh. and eating/drinking the broth from pressure cooked bison neck bones and adding some extra fat via grassfed ghee. This is a battle but I won't give up on carnivore. Just rambling I guess but really frustrated today.
