there are mid level 30 natural bushi spawns at the fisherman's point beach. Since they can tp, if you want some easy ingots you can actually aggro them and make them tp really high up then break their roof and have them fall. I made a video for humans only run using this if you wanna see, it kinda long tho! (can do at any level) GL on your chikipi run!
There was someone who made a no pals run and he found out that Bushi works on honor system so if you dont draw your weapon they wont attack or something like that Also i cant wait for him next vid to feel dumb farming the 1 hour boss for ingots lol
A few tips from other challenge runs I've seen: * Bushi naturally spawn near that village you found and they drop ingots too. You can bait them into a teleport on a platform high above the ground. Do with this whatever you want (YinsAltF4, author of this strategy, is apparently here in comments nearby). * For easy money and levels you can farm slave traders. A hanging trap and a bonfire is a surprisingly dangerous combo. * You can cheese leveling up by crafting a crumbling wall. Build a foundation high above the ground (point camera away and up after), build a wall on a side, build a roof hanging on the other side of the wall from foundation. Now point at a side of foundation below the roof. You should see a wall appear placeable above in the middle of a wall or parallel to it yet still only half a block away from it. If you place it down it will immediately crumble, so you can spam-build them for buiding experience. * Not all weapons dealing high damage require ore. Handcrafting them is a pain, though. * Breeding is likely a pipe dream, but if you want to go for the ultimate Chikipi there's a way to get cakes without baking them by farming Lovanders. That will take a while even at a triple spawn quantity though, since it have only 1% chance to drop. They also drop a potion which allow you to respec your points. So, you can go for work-related stats in early to mid game and then respec into attack and health for personal damage and survivability if you wish. Same 1% chance as cakes, though.
Oh, BTW, you can cancel a grapple gun by switching to another weapon. Your idea is correct if you do it right and grapple gun won't bug out. Also, note you can slide downhill.
The crossbow schematic that you got from Bushi is op and might be better than guns as you only need arrows for it. I think this crossbow deals 750dmg per shot. Making it will require a lot of resources though.
Also even higher Level on one of the Sanctuary Islands there's PLENTY Bushys. But they'll be around 40+ :C@ve Edit: There's also Astagons and Shadowbeaks on the same Island, who drop other types of Ingots as well - very rare spawn but likely your only hope for those ~
I can understand not using the OP type Pals but this is just playing to grind. I refuse to use any Pals that eat more than 5 bread icons. So far i downed grisbolt at lvl12 and down Leyden at lvl24... So... I'm assuming i could do enough dmg to fight the 3rd boss at lvl36? Maybe it's less grindy if you play using only 2 bread icon pals? 🤷🏻♂️
You got a legendary crossbow from Bushi, 490 damage might not seem like much but it fires faster than the musket and the arrows are a lot cheaper than coarse ammo. And like others have mentioned, Bushis from the open world also drop ingots.
With the grappling gun. If you glitch out like that. I learned you can just press the cancel button. I use controller so for me it is B. No need to respawn. :) Wait until you find a lucky chikipi. They can come with an ability like the dark laser (or whatever it is called) or even a meteor ability.
The fact that you only tought of the alpha bushi but not the random spawns on the south side of the volcano is kinda odd. I mean, if you drop a base there, kite them on a high platform, than break the platform, you can totally oneshot them with fall damage. Well, once you have a glider that is, cause otherwise it'll more often than not result in your character's death too.
I think this wasn't in the game in the very beginning, at least I think that's the case. Maybe there was an update for them to spawn in masses on the south side of the volcano. But now that they have, I can farm them much more easily!
I popped into the tower just to get an idea of how far off I still was from being able to challenge Zoe and Grizzbolt... only for them to immediately get stuck on a pillar of their own accord. XD Went from "I'll just see how strong they are and then leave" to being a successful no hit run lol.
Any reason why you didn't try to build the legendary crossbow drop you got from Bushi? I think it would do more damage than the handgun and the arrows are far cheaper

you should search for some good stats and a lucky one (Ive seen a few near where the big grintale boss is, over on the island to the east of the starting area) and go for breeding a giga chicken, though it is going to take forever making cakes unless you raise your workspeed stat more, and that might not be the greatest thing given Im assuming you are going to try to make up for some damage yourself too, but I guess you could restat later? If you go that route im pretty sure you can breed lucky into the mix, so lucky, muscle head, brave probably your best bet, toss in vanguard as a 4th for 10% bonus to your attack maybe, or hooligan for another 15% on the chicken? or make elemental chickens with things like cold blooded. Might be kinda hard to breed some perfect chickens, but also might be worth it, 2 chickpeas each with 2 of the stats you want as opposed to all 4 on both would work best for mass production btw cus percentage bs, but still going to take some luck to get all 4 on one. Then condense the bajesus out of them and gather some souls for the statue improvements, that is going to be the absolute best chickens you can get most likely. Also if you find some implode skills on a tree, that could be interesting to make some chicken bombs. Im not sure where I found them but they are findable, maybe tree, could be a box from the wildlife sanctuary, thatd be rough without a flyer though. You can also find alpha chickpeas in the low level dungeons. Feel free to despawn/respawn bosses to get them by going into the boss room to see who it is, leaving to previous room and returning if it is not who you want aka beeg cheecken. Sadly you cant breed that into the legendary perfect chicken, though they do supposedly have better stat growth maybe? Either way, you can still throw a big chicken at people. Merchant in the duneshelter place in the northeast has a musket btw if you want one, also both cold and heat pelt armors and the corresponding undershirts, though you can find them in boxes. You will need heat resist 2 or cold 2 at night to get there, but pelt is the best you can get from the merchants, gonna be rough building the metal versions. Though for endgame, if you can take on the legendary pals some of them drop pal metal ingots, the dragons and one of the centaur guys in the dune area for sure, so you could in theory craft endgame gear, maybe, im not sure about building the buildings. Im not sure if anyone drops refined though, but Im sure something in the 30-40 lv range does if both regular (at 23) and pal metal (at 49-50) drops, it would only make sense. Hope some of that helps.
great video's great content, great charisma (even when you thought you were talking to less than 80ppl) keep up the great work additionally i think you shouldve breed some better skills on to your chicken before condensing but even still, serious dedication
you should try breeding the chickens because those statuses like musclehead and serious can be bred into new chickens. So, you can take two good chickens and make a better one. For some pals, you can breed two different species of pal and get a different pal from it but i dont think you can do that part with chikpi
You can still grind bushi drops buy going to place where bushi spons naturally instead of fight a alpha boss who are tougher and should wait 1 hour every time you will him
there are more bushi over by the fishing village down by the volcano on the beach just walk past the fishing village and keep on the shore and you will find them its a good walk away but there there
The game is kinda easy. The only problem is that one Xbox one the game is always crashing and sets your progress back ten minutes so bosses are torture to kill
Damage over time is not worth it for the higher rarity skills. You’ll find your pal just stand and do nothing after one shot and they get killed while waiting for the skill to reload
yo i havent watched the whole vid yet but for more easy ingots from bushi i thing by capturing he drops ingots and then butchering also gives ingots but im not sure

Hey dude, love this challenge since the chicken is hands down the best Pal! If you do this run with glitches i recommend doing the item dupe glitch. There are some good vids on this glitch if you wanna know how to do it. Keep it up bro 🎉

at the Volcano base there is a Bushi spawn site, and you can build a really tall structure so u bait them to teleport to you then destroy the floor so they fall to their deaths, and just rinse and repeat

They spawn in the world, not just a boss.
The makeshift handgun uses coarse ammo. That's the same ammo type as the musket

Dont be afraid to call back your chickens before a big attack then sending them back out when its safe. You can do this infinitely. Might as well.

Btw, there's a button to cancel the grapple so you don't need to respawn each time it glitches. I believe on PC it's CTRL.

If you're stuck in that grapple animation just use crouch and it'll cancel

I know it sounds stupid but there is a glitch where you can use the display case to instantly revive pals, it saves quite a lot of time.
