Thank you Will and everyone at Flatbush Cats for your extraordinary vision of the brighter, healthier, and happier future of cats and dogs in your community. I hope that non profit spay and neuter clinics will be built all across the country because of your mission to improve the lives of cats and dogs in your community. What a brilliant, life saving, and life changing concept. Bravo!!
I donate like 10$ a month, automatically. That’s all I can afford, and to them every little bit counts. Especially if thousands of people only give 5 or10$.
Me too. I'm on fixed income. Donate monthly, wish it could be more! Can't even afford a kitty of my own. Will is right. Nationwide it's unaffordable for many to even own a pet. I hate to see a sickly kitty on the street while ppl just walk by unphased. This is a good thing they've got here. 🐾
I'm so glad you're talking about the lack of affordability. It's outrageous, and I don't think it's the vet's fault; vets go into massive debt in veterinary school.
Our cat got sick in July, a rare autoimmune disease that it cost us 2 months, $1200 in tests and another $500 in vets visit costs and medication to relieve her Pemphigus. We're relieved that they figured it out, but that's a lot of money and we are pinching pennies to pay for it.
This is so great to see! I'm helping to build a shelter in Morocco. I hope they will eventually have a vet clinic. The channel is Feeding Street Cats. It's a huge challenge, as TNR is unknown there, and some vets won't neuter a male. 🙄 Progress takes years, but you've shown what can be done. 💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏
@margaretgill4330 Flatbush is one word not two the way you wrote it is wrong. I know because i am from Flatbush Brooklyn. You should fix that because you would make a lot of Flatbush people angry we take offense to people who misspelled Flatbush
Will and Hannah and all their volunteers plus fosters have tackled a unbelievable crisis just in NY. It's a problem world wide. Only TNR can put a dent in this horrific on going out of control problem. This clinic will help if they can stay afloat and keep the staff they have now and don't get burned out.
Thanks for that! I'm helping Feeding Street Cats, a channel from a family who feeds about 150 cats a day. TNR is unheard of there, and some vets won't neuter males. The problem is worldwide, and we each do what we can.
I'm glad news channels are picking up your effort. In the past I've sent a few emails to some networks , I suppose others may have done the same. Your actions and compassion inspires us, wish I could do more.
I hope this becomes a national model. What about a having a “membership” or subscription option for regulars? It would be great to see some kind of cooperative model that is more resilient than being a nonprofit begging for funding. The services you’re offering are vital to the health and wellbeing of the community.
Too many ppl still don't get puppy mills. They are too attached to getting the chi-chi breed of the year dog just to say they own one. I truly believe animals are more intelligent, more kind, more thoughtful than a lot of humans. 🐾
Yes I'm so glad y'all finally are getting some spotlight people need to know about this❤ I told someone how much it cost to get my kitten spayed two years ago and got called liar to my face😂 I brought that jerk the receipt as I keep all my vet docs. They immediately apologized and to this day bring it up and apologize again😂😂 ❤❤❤ people who don't have pets do not believe how expensive a vet is.
Dr Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet on Animal Planet has an incredibly low-cost practice and the care they provide is incredible. Imagine if Flatbush got a show on Animal Planet!
You are doing such great work. I hope that it will have an impact. I have to say that the regular vet prices in Flatbush and area must be astronomical as the pricing on your website for TNR org's struck me as awfully high, and those are discounted rates. Those discounted rates are higher than my regular vet's rates where I live.
Many years ago I heard “owning pets is a luxury.” It always stuck with me. Growing up I never saw having pets as a luxury, but as an “adult”and being owned by 2 cats I fully understand and agree with the statement. I donate to my local humane society. They have a fund specifically for people who need assistance with vet bills.
I personally believe IF EVERY VETERINARIAN in America were required to donate 1 DAY a week to nothing but spay/neuter service.....think of the IMPACT that would have on pet overpopulation.
That’s why I don’t have any pets right now. This is the first time in my life that we haven’t had at least a cat in the house. But I can’t afford his health bills. So like so many others when my last two cats passed away I didn’t replace them.
Spaying and neutering fixes the reproduction issue, but what about the cost of basic checkups? The medical care is outrageous. My vet wanted me to have my cat's teeth cleaned for a whopping $2500. I thought she was joking at first.
I have friends who get charged 500 to 700 hundred dollars just to get their animals spade or nurtured in Jefferson County Washington. Ridiculous. How can anyone afford that.😮
Sounds like a private vet fee from the only vet in town! I'm in Florida and my local humane society does spay/neuter surgery for $50. My cats are happy and healthy 15 and 19 years later!
There is a woman that has a YT channel called Lucky Ferals that started out with 4 cats, then trapped the Dad cat that happened to be FIV positive. Late last year, she trapped an entire family of kittens, (6 of them I believe) and footed the bill for the spay and neuters. No deals or discounts as New Jersey charges for the SNAP certificate on top of what the vet charges. Average cost, $700 for a spay, $500 for a neuter. I trapped a family of two kittens, the Mom and Dad at the beginning of Covid. I accepted the cost of the spay and neuter, with the intent of bringing the adults to the local shelter. They were euthanizing all cats surrendered, as they were unable to do adoption meet and greets. So, now I have 6 cats.
I wish something like that could open up near where we live one of our cats who is 16 had a cyst over his eye and we took them to the only vet near us and they said it would go away on it's own it didn't now its grown so bad they are saying his eye would need to go with it and telling us it would cost 2000 at least for something that originally would have been easy to fix
As a non-american follower of this channel, I have to say. Seeing how many Americans are vehemently opposed to having affordable healthcare for HUMANS, it really shouldn't surprise anyone that healthcare for pets is even worse off...
I’m just saying not to be rude whatsoever ever here, but don’t get a pet if you can’t afford to take care of one. I wouldn’t have my cats if I knew I could afford even and expensive surgery if needed, one of the reasons I buy pet insurance for all 7 of my cats.
It should be illegal to breed animals when there are so many who need homes. If nothing else, a tax needs to be levied where 25% of the cost of buying an animal goes to support animal shelters; which, by the way end up with many of them anyway.
This a completely man made crisis too. Domestic cats weren't even on this continent until we brought them here. Please don't let your cats roam unattended. Please spay/neuter your pets. Please work to make your elected officials aware of the corporate takeover of vet care in this country and the resultant rising cost and demand they take action against both.
Every place in NYC where I see cats on the streets, I see VERY FEW rats...🤔🤔...can you please allow our street cats to roam or at least be equitable and start providing sheltered care for the exploding rat population 🤷🏾♂️😒
I'm so happy Flatbush Cats is getting some well deserved recognition from major news outlets. Glad to be along for the ride! ❤️
I just want to say to @FlatbushCats you sir have a humongous penis. God bless you sir you are a REAL Man, a REAL Human; a Real Soul. (and ofc people that do the same absolutely brilliant good deeds).
This Michigan donor says Congrats on the national news coverage! Well done!
I just want to say to @FlatbushCats you sir have a humongous penis. God bless you sir you are a REAL Man, a REAL Human; a Real Soul. (and ofc people that do the same absolutely brilliant good deeds).
Wow.. we've made the big time!! My hope is that this will bring more support to Flatbush Cats!! God Bless you Will!! 🐾🐾🐾🐾

I'm grateful to Flatbush Cats for helping cats and shining a light on the cost of caring for pets. I recently donated to you :)
Wow 7500 spay/neuters a year? That's like 20 a day!
i’m a happy sponsor and advocate for FBC!! great work! Love from California
Keeping my monthly $$ coming your way. Congratulations on success. We did it!!
So happy to be a part of this wonderful organization!

Every contribution matters. Believe! 💙💙🙏🙏
What a victory! Nicely done. The cats are beautiful! Fun to see a dog or two, ha ha.
I'm so glad you're talking about the lack of affordability. It's outrageous, and I don't think it's the vet's fault; vets go into massive debt in veterinary school.
Congratulations. Wonderful PR for you.
Clinic looks fantastic.
I’ve been following this fantastic charity for some time, the government should be supporting this wonderful venture.🇬🇧

Greedy capitalist corporation. Most of these clinics don't care about animals except the money. Glad there are people out there who do care.
Of all my expenses, the monthly to you folks is the one I am actually happy about, proud of. Y’all are amazing.
Let's go! Glad to see the local news is shining a light on this! Great work you guys! Keep going!
Congratulations glad to see the progress you have made you and your staff should be commended
Congrats on making it to the big leagues! Great to see the progress you’ve made and love seeing how you help the community
Congratulations! Been following your progress and donate when I can.

Excellent! Congrats! More attention needs to be given to this problem!
Congratulations 👏👏🎉 to the new flat bush veterinary ❤❤❤❤

@@daniellewoolley8607you can correct people without being rude.
Wonderful recognition for your wonderful work! Now to get every major city in the country to follow your lead!
National Recognition well deserved!!!! Thanks for your kind great work!
Prayers for you and them are being answered ! ✝️🙏🧡😺

Congrats! I'm trying to help a poor farm owner whose farm is crowded with dumped cats and kittens.
Thanks for that! I'm helping Feeding Street Cats, a channel from a family who feeds about 150 cats a day. TNR is unheard of there, and some vets won't neuter males. The problem is worldwide, and we each do what we can.
You and your team are amazing, thank you!🙏🐈💝🐾
Bravo Flatbush Cats!
Awwhh... congrats on the exposure!!!
This is awesome news Will. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Great work!
I'm glad news channels are picking up your effort. In the past I've sent a few emails to some networks , I suppose others may have done the same. Your actions and compassion inspires us, wish I could do more.
I pray that the publicity will encourage more people and organizations to create solutions like this.

Woot woot!!!!!! Its so nice seeing a cause we hold close to our hearts hitting the big time
Great work as usual!
Im so happy for your organization!!❤
Will Zweigart is a HERO
Yes, get to the root. Also shutdown puppymills, mass cat breeders, etc.
Too many ppl still don't get puppy mills. They are too attached to getting the chi-chi breed of the year dog just to say they own one.

Fantastic hit.
It’s amazing to see Flatbush Cats getting more attention to get more people on board address the underlying causes of overcrowded shelters
Great job guys love your channel
Grazie.
Saluted Flatbush cats..
CONGRATS ON THE NEWS COVERAGE
You're good people.
We need more affordable pet clinics like yours all ove the us. Hopefully other will follow your example. Thank you for helping
Dr Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet on Animal Planet has an incredibly low-cost practice and the care they provide is incredible. Imagine if Flatbush got a show on Animal Planet!

Vet care expense is insane.
Pet owners can get FREE pet food at Petco, right inside the front door.
❤❤❤🐈❤❤❤🐕❤❤❤
I'd die before I gave up my cat.
May Allah protect you all.
Heck yeah!

Can you help me relocate a feeder-friendly cat from a dangerous spot?
From West 6th between Quentin & P to a safer spot on West 8th between P & O.
Spaying and neutering fixes the reproduction issue, but what about the cost of basic checkups? The medical care is outrageous. My vet wanted me to have my cat's teeth cleaned for a whopping $2500. I thought she was joking at first.
I'd love to see Flatbush Cats on MSM once a week with rescue/adoption/spay-neuter stats. Just like weather reports. 🙀 ❤
We need a national free to fix your pets
Your local and state government are no where to be found regarding this issue.
😻❤

How about blame the vets charging a lot
hiiiiiii
what happened to your videos :(
A dystopian society
They need to catch spay neuter and release
