It’s almost always at least a little bit Larry’s fault, because he’s so neurotic he just can’t let stuff go when he thinks someone else is being unreasonable. Even when he’s right, he makes it worse. When the other person is being unreasonable, there’s usually an easy, graceful way out of the situation, but Larry won’t take that way out. Instead, he’ll say or do something to make it worse. And he just won’t let it go. That’s Larry. Neurotic, fixated, obsessive Larry.
The “woman who plays Mary” actually IS Mary. That is Mary Steenburgen. She and Ted Danson are married and play themselves in this show. Several of Larry’s celebrity friends play themselves in this show.
This show is all about Larry being a social issue lmao, or sometimes reacting to social issues
This show is similar to Its Always Sunny in that the first couple seasons are a little rough around the edges (still funny) but by Season 3 it’s top tier comedy throughout. Can’t wait 😂
Season 3 & 4 are a laughter riot.
"The woman who plays Mary" is Mary Steenburgen, an all-time great actress, and all-time great Arkansan.

This show glows when 2 people in particular are on the screen. One you will meet later, one is the great Richard Lewis.

Yes that was really Ted Danson. He use to be married to Whoopie Goldberg, but ruined his marriage and career (briefly) after dressing up in Black face at his wife Whoppie’s birthday party. He got cancelled after that for a short period. It was a bad choice no doubt, but i worked with Ted Danson on CSI: Las Vegas and he gave no racist vibes whatsoever. He’s a really nice person and always treated me with kindness and respect on set. It’s just really unfortunate he made a bad attempt at comedy and it almost ruined his career.
What they do with the whole "Heaven' thing is so good.
Curb is so fuckin good man, right there with Sunny as the best comedy of the last couple decades
