- For many years. Airfix produced three RAF related vehicle sets for dioramas. Here we look at the three sets, as built by one of our Members.

Nice choice of vehicles, I do like the ambulance...
I had problems building the ambulance as half of the front axle and the pin that holds the spare wheel in place just hadn't molded.
I built the first two of these - probably picked up from Youings in Barnstaple. Thanks for the memories!
Youings is my first Port of Call for my model supplies!

To think how old these kits are they can still hold their own. A slight re tool would help enhance them, clear parts or clear cabs would be good
I admit. The tool does need a bit of tweeking. The colour scheme does need a bit of updating as well.

This hobby is for everyone, irrespective of age or ability. As long as the builder is happy with the result and is happy to share those results, then that's good enough.
