Whoa that’s smooth landing
Very good review.
I flew the sq 78X from Perth to Singapore.
UPS: they have the live tv, at least you get to see the information upon arrival into Singapore.
Downs: the economy class seat. It was so squished and crammed up. The entertainment system can be slow at times.

My wife and I stay with her family in the Philippines for a month every year and SIA is the airline we always use due to their quality/customer service. However, on our next visit (mid Jan to mid Feb 2023) we have decided to use a competitor airline due to SIA's cost cutting antics, significantly higher fares and the virtual absence of "economy lite" fares on the LHR-MNL route at this time. Sad, but flexi economy fares at triple the price of economy lite for a downgraded service is just unacceptable.
It really was disappointing to see all these cost cutting moves. I was lucky enough to purchase these tickets on a sale, however SIA really can be quite pricey on a normal day! Thanks for watching!

I.actually prefer Qantas on this route if I have to fly down the back of the bus. I prefer their seat config. Have also done BC on this route with both Qantas and Singapore as recently as last October. Qantas still came out on top. Found the crew a lot less robotic and the A350 seat is as hard as a rock Singapore. Could be I had flown into Singapore from Europe on Emirates and maybe a little tired. We also flew Turkish BC on this trip. They are amazing and food is terrific. Our rating was Qantas at the top which was a surprise. Closely followed by Turkish. Emirates. Cold food in BC not good. Singapore. That was according to food, seat and service. This was a surprise to us. Something interesting. We were really looking forward to Emirates A380 BC. But the size of BC with around 70 seats make it impersonal. Felt like a conveyor belt. Happy travels.

I wanna see the full Takeoff, regardless of unforseen circumcisionstances. I wanna both see the flaps Extended plus retracted. I wanna seethe full boarding experiences, and deplwning as well. I wanna hear both... BOTH pre--Takeoff & post-landing announcements. Other reviewers include those things. Please do the same. The landing portion was OK. But just OK.
